Theology Vs Christian Theology Assignment

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theology

Everything is affected by your theology. For example, if your theology denies the existence of
God, then your morality is going to be affected since its basis is not a personal and timeless
being.

Because theology itself provided or provides a foundation for your philosophy and worldview,
which in turn sets the inclination for our heart and our actions, and decisions in all situations.

If your theology denies the sinfulness of man, then a bloody sacrificial death to atone for sin
becomes repulsive, since, according to your theology, men don’t need to have their sin atoned
for.
Does your theology deny the sinfulness of man?
Do your theology denies the existence of God?

If your theology is polytheistic (i.e. belief in many gods), then you will constantly be trying to
figure out which god or gods you should encounter, pray to, and/or appease in order to make
their situation “right.”

So lets look at the difference between Theology vs Christian Theology

1. Theology
The term “theology” comes from the Greek words for “God” (theos) and “word,” or “body of
knowledge” (logos); it means, “the body of knowledge about God,” or, more simply, “the study
of God”

Theology is the systematic study of the nature of the divine and, more broadly, of religious
belief. It is taught as an academic discipline, typically in universities and seminaries.
Attending seminary is a serious personal and spiritual commitment. If you’re feeling called by
God to earn a master’s or doctoral degree, it’s time to start considering your options.
Seminary is a chance to build skills you’ll need as a minister, deepen your relationship with
God and grow your Biblical knowledge.
