1. Watch the following video with scenes from the movie

minute 1:20, and complete the following statements from the
video.

a) Hades is going to kill us if he finds out what happened.

b) Hercules, if you can prove yourself a true hero on Earth, your
Godhood would be restored.
c) If I don’t become a true hero, I’ll never be able to rejoin my father
Zeus.
d) If you don’t help him now, Phil, he will die.

2. After having watched the four scenes of the video, write 4

sentences using a future time clause that refer to each scene
of the video.
For example: Hercules will be disappointed after he finds out
Meg helped Hades.
 Scene 1: Hades it’s going to kill them when he finds out what
happened and there will be no escape from him.
 Scene 2: Hercules will restore his godhood after he becomes a
true heroe on earth and save those who need help.
 Scene 3: Hercules will never be able rejoining Zeus if he doesn’t
become a true heroe and it will be a big problem.
 Scene 4: Phil is going to leave Hercules die if he doesn’t help him
and it will be a mistake if he doesn't help him.
3. Create a written composition where you talk about what Meg
should do. It does not matter if you have or have not
watched the movie, your answer should be about YOUR
opinion. Should she help Hades and betray Hercules in
exchange of her freedom? Why? Use at least 2 conditional
type 1 sentences and 3 future time clauses.

Meg finds herself in a difficult choice; she has to choose between

helping Hades and betraying Hercules in exchange for her freedom.
It is a difficult situation for anyone because if he helps hades he will
give him power over the earth but in return he will be free.
Meg has to help Hercules to be able to defeat Hades and make the
world a better place, and if they defeat Hades she could be free.
Intermediate and advanced students:
