New joiner FAQs

1. I have received an e-mail notification regarding my DOJ. But have not

received any other details such as location / Whether the Onboarding will be
Physical etc.  
Response. As we shape the future of work—we are keeping in mind what our
people want and the varying requirements of the clients we serve. We continue
to operate in hybrid model providing flexibility.

For new joiners the onboarding team will confirm on the location and the mode of
Onboarding atleast 3 – 5 weeks ahead of the Date of joining.

If you receive an intimation for physical (in-person office) onboarding, then it is

mandatory to complete all the formalities in-person at Accenture office. In an
unforeseen circumstance, if you are unable to join in-person, then we will
evaluate the best next possible date for your joining.

2. Will I get any accommodation support from Accenture?

Response. In case you are relocation from a different city to join Accenture
location, please inform your point of contact from onboarding team. They will
organize for your accommodation for the first 14 days. Once you raise a request,
the team will share the accommodation details 2 – 3 days prior to date of joining.

3. If onboarding is physical, will training be also physical?

Response. Yes, if you are invited for a physical (in-person) onboarding, the
training will also be in-person, at the Accenture location and would typically span
for 2 – 3 months.
4. Post training, will the Project assigned also be functioning from office?
Response. It is likely that your project assignment would be in the same base
location. The exact details of facility and the mode of working from office will be
determined by the project. Please note the number of days our people will be required to
be at the office, will vary by team and the type of work. At times, some teams will operate
remotely; others will require more in-person time.

5. Am I supposed to complete my Onboarding Formalities in my Base Location

mentioned as per my Offer Letter?
Response. Yes please plan to be in the base location which has been
communicated to you by the onboarding team.
6. Can I change my Base Location after being assigned to a project?
Response. After allocation to project, the flexible mode of working from office or
change in location will be determined by the project requirements. We need our
campus selects to be flexible in being trained on any skill and to join any location
as per business requirement.
7. If I am unable to make it for Physical onboarding what would be the next
steps?
Response. In an unforeseen circumstance, if you are unable to join in-person
please intimate your onboarding point of contact immediately. We will evaluate
the best next possible date for your joining and keep you informed.
