Thai Industrial Standard (TIS 863-2532). Material made from Hot-Dip Galvanized
Steel following TIS 50-2538 and JIS G3302 for superior corrosion resistance.

* Corrosion is one of the main factors affecting suspended ceiling safety since metal profiles are not seen
after completion of ceiling work. There is no warning of insecure ceiling. All Metal Profiles, Elephant Brand,
gain a corrosion-resistant with minimum (zinc coat) galvanizing of 220 g/sgm (Z22), which is thicker than
80% of similar profiles in the market (120-180 g/sqm, Z12 – Z18). The corrosion test can only be made in
the laboratory, but we can hold an easy comparison by putting 2 types of metal profile into salt water and
measure how long they become rusty.

Beside the unique design and qualified production certified
by TIS 863-2532, ProWall Partition Metalprofile, Elephant
Brand is ensured its quality with its zinc galvanizing of 220
g/sqm, which is 80% higher than other metalprofile in the

following ASTM B117-97 at 300 continuous hours
comparing between ProWall and partition stud no. 24 in

Installation Method

1 Mark the partition line on both floor and ceiling.

2 Fix ProWall U-Track to floor and ceiling using

suitable fixings at every 60 cm. intervals.
The fixing at the end edge at least 5 cm.
from the end of U-Track.

3 Insert ProWall C-Stud into ProWall U-Track, then twist to lock at every 60 cm. intervals (In order to allow
adjustment when fixing plasterboard, C- Stud should not be screw fixed to U-Track). No need to install
Cross Runner except in door frame or built-in furniture area.

4 Fix plasterboard to partition with Drywall Screws at 5 Plaster the plasterboard joints with Elephant brand
every 30 cm. intervals at the middle of board and EasyPlas120 according to compound instructions.

ë When screwing at the edge of the board, start screwing from ë When screwing at the middle of the board, screwing

Q&A
1. Why C and U stud have a range of width? How to choose?
ë Variety width of C & U Stud offered so that you can choose the one that fits to the size of door frame and window
(which have many sizes). Moreover, the stud that wider and thicker can support a higher partition.
2. How many methods to fix the gypsum board to the stud partition? Which method is the most efficient?
ë Now there are 3 methods, which are
1) Riveting. The most popular method since it uses the same equipment of fixing aluminum stud. But riveting makes too many
steps which consumes time. Moreover, it is less strong than screwing and crimper.
2) Screwing. Faster and stronger but could be a little more expensive than other method.
3) Crimper. Easiest and fastest, still economy since it does not require any other accessories. But this method could be difficult
if work on a thick metal stud.
3. Is it possible to use screw for fixing the gypsum board to the stud for fixing the studs together?
ë No. It is not recommended using screw for fixing gypsum board to the stud for fixing the studs together because it is designed
to have leaned base in order to catch the gypsum board firmly. But it could loosen if fixing between studs. We suggest using
screw for studs only to fix the studs together.
