ORDER UNDER SECTION 144 Cr. P.C

Whereas it has been made to appear to me that there is an imminent risk of further
spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) in the limits of District Mahendragarh, which is
dangerous to human health and life. In light ofthis fact, prevention appears to be the
best available cure so far.
Therefore, it is essential that gathering of more than 4 persons in public places
should be prohibited unless specifically permitted, to mitigate the risk of Covid-19 and
to prevent such danger to human health and safety in view ofabove Covid-19 epidemic.
And whereas I am satisfied that immediate measures are needed to be taken to
prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Now, therefore in exercise of powers vested in me by virtue of section 144 Cr.
P.C. of the code of criminal procedure, 1973, I. Aiav Kumar. IAS. District
Magistrate. Mahend rasarh do herebv prohibit the ga thering of more than ,l
Dersons in public olaces. unless sDec ificallv oermitted. with immediate effect in the
lu risdiction of District Mahendrasarh till further orders
Superintendent of Police, all Sub Divisional Magistrates, all field level
committees/teams and all duty magistrates constituted vide order 270lMA dated
24rc4/2021 shall enforce this order in letter and spirit.
This order shall not apply to the Executive Magistrates and Police Personnel
and other public servants on duty.
In view of the emergent situation and shortage of time, this order is being passed
ex-parte. Any person violating this order will be liable to be proceeded against as per
the provisions of Section 5l to 60 of Disaster Management Act,2005, besides legal
action under Section 188 ofthe IPC, 1860 and other legal provisions as applicable.
This order shall come into force with effect from 27 .04.2021.
District Information and Public Relations Officer, Mahendragarh is directed to
ensure wide publicity for compliance of above orders in District Mahendragarh.
