    Do you know what HIV is? What are its causes?

    What is the status of PLWHA in religion? How religion/religious community

    should treat them?

    Stigma:

     Do you view HIV infection as a result of sinful acts and immorality?

     Do you agree that HIV is a punishment from God

     HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) have not followed the Word of God?

     PLWHA should withdraw from social settings such religious community

    (mosque, shrines, jinazah, ijtimah etc).

     Should be restrained to offer Salah, recite Quran or perform other religious

    activities.

     There are instances of Harsh moral judgements by religious scholars on

    people infected with the disease. What do you have to say about it?
    Disclosure:

    1. Sometimes Religion and religious beliefs makes it difficult for a person to

    disclose HIV- status. Do you agree?

    2. Do you believe religious conservatism is playing a role in hesitation for

    disclosing the status?

    3. Do you agree religious communities add a greater complexity to

    implementing HIV intervention programs, especially in our setting where

    supernatural beliefs are widespread?

    Treatment Seeking Behaviour:

    1. Does healthcare accessibility along with the proper perspective of religious

    beliefs can improve treatment outcomes?

    2. Religious institutions led by people who themselves could be prone to

    stigmatic thoughts and prejudice impairing PLHAs from participating in

    services, Do you agree?

    3. Faith based organisations can play a major role in removing the religious

    stigmas which prevents one from seeking treatment. Please Comment

    emotional healing and support, do you agree?

    5. Prayer, meditation, faith in God, and other forms of religious participation

    have frequently been cited by PLWHA as major strategies for coping with
