The strand STEM isn’t easy as it seems due to that it’s vast coverage of
other subjective properties. STEM is an acronym for the fields of Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics but it is actually not limited to the four
mentioned fields the strand of STEM can also cover EAPP or English for
Academic and Professional Purposes despite it’s wide range sadly it isn’t always
available for everyone.

In cases students who have plans or have dreams for the wide classes of
engineering in a optimistic point of view this is a really bright future for the
aspiring students but the problem is that not all schools support this strand notably
public schools some public schools only have Cookery or SMAW which some
students would lose the opportunity to chase after their aspiration in other words
the lack of opportunities that not all but some government schools or the public
schools does not quite have the desired strands of the overall students in some
situations the school would only have the aforementioned strands Cookery and
SMAW and would not have the strands HUMMS, STEM, GAS, ABM, and ICT.
But the question is what is the problem or reason why some public schools do not
have the mentioned courses? Is it just because carelessness and the ignorance of
the government? The answer is a bit of both the overlying problem is the lack of
required facilities that would facilitate the aforementioned courses.

So what could be the solution to resolve this problem? I would say that
those schools should be given the needed assets to be able to give those kinds of
strands to the needing students an example of this is if a student whom aspires to
become an engineer one day wants to be studying under the strand of stem then he
should be able to do so and not be held back due to lack of available courses in a
particular school because if that’s the student’s dream then he should be able to try
and fulfill it and not be held back by lousy and obnoxious reasons that the only
available school doesn’t have this or that strand/s.
