I. ĐẠI CƯƠNG:
1. Phim quanh chóp:
In a periapical radiograpgh, it is essential to obtain the full length of
the tooth and at least 2mm of the periapical bone. The most universal
film size is the no.2 film size, which can be can be used for the older
pediatric patient and for almost all adults.
- Chụp toàn bộ chiều dài răng và ít nhất 2 mm xương quanh chóp. Kích
thước phim thường dùng là No.2, có thể sử dụng cho trẻ lớn và người
lớn.
2. Phim cánh cắn:
Bitewing radiographs record, on a single film, images of the outlines,
position, and extent of the crowns and the coronal one third of the
interalveolar bone and a portion of roots of the maxillary and
mandibular teeth.
- Phim cánh cắn  giúp nhìn được 1/3 XOR và 1 phần chân răng hàm
trên và hàm dưới.
