ABOUT THE PROJECT


I- Standard
A. Content Standard
1. The learner demonstrates understanding of media and information literacy (MIL) and
MIL related concepts.
B. Performance Standard
1. The learner organizes a creative and interactive symposium for the community
focusing on being a media and information literate individual.
II- Content
A. Media and Information Languages
B. Legal, Ethical, and Societal Issues in Media and Information
III- Learning Competencies
Students will be able to…
A. produce a short film that will educate the viewers about a specific issue related to legal,
ethical, and societal issues in media and information (SSHS);
B. produce and assess the codes, convention, and messages of a group presentation
(MILI11/12MILA-IIIf-16); and
C. organize a creative and interactive symposium where students will present their short film
and discuss its subject and message to junior high school students (SSHS).

A. Computer
B. Smartphone, Digital Camera, or DLSR Camera (Video Recording)
C. Microsoft Word
D. Video Editing Software, Web Tool, or Mobile Application (e.g. Windows Movie Maker,
iMovie, Animoto, MiniMovie, VideoShow etc.)
V- Guidelines
A. The class will be divided into groups with 6- 7 members. Each group is considered a film
production and members will be assigned to a specific position role. Students will be
allowed to play dual positions.
(Please see attached video treatment form for the positions in each film productions)
B. Each group will create a 3- 6 minutes video presentation in MP4 format. Video
presentation may be instructional, persuasive, historical, or reflective.
C. Each group will choose a topic from the next lesson which is “Legal, Ethical, and
Societal Issues in Media and Information”. No duplication of topics in each class.

D. Each group will create a video treatment, storyboard, and movie poster for their video.
E. Format for video treatment:
-MS Word (.doc) -Legal size (8. 5 inches X 13 inches)
-Font: Times New Roman -Font Size: 12
-Line Spacing: 1.5, Single Space -Borders: 1 inch top, left, right, and bottom.
(Note: Please see attached video treatment form for the additional needed information)
F. Digital video poster size is 8 inches x 12. 5 inches while a storyboard sheet will be
provide.
G. Shooting location is strictly within the premises of the School.
H. Students can use any video editing software, web tools, or mobile application that they
are familiar with in making their video presentation.
I. The video must be in line with the vision- mission of the school thus cursing, vulgar
words, profanity, obscenity are not allowed.
J. Proper citation for borrowed materials is required.

SMART Goal

S We want to make the viewers realize the severity of bullying and the effects that
comes with it.

M We will keep track of how much progress we have done each time we film. The goal
will be accomplished when all the requirements for the film has been fulfilled and
when we’re satisfied with the result.

A We have access to gadgets and we also have people who are quite experienced with
editing software. Most of us have flexible schedule. This will help us in making the
film much more efficient and achievable.

R Bullying has become more and more prevalent as time goes by. We want to teach
or at least make viewers empathize with the one being bullied.

Summary of the story


Sa isang public schools, may Isang lalaki na laging binubully. That time may isa babae Ang
gusto Siyang tulungan.
Isa Araw ay naging magkaibigan sila. Tulad ng inaasahan ng boy, pati si girl ay binubully na din
Sa park, Nakita ni boy si girl na umiiyak
▪one day in public school (G) and (B) met, at that time they met
▪one day (B) recognized that (G) was being bullied like (B) was being bullied, a few moments
later (B) saw (G) in a park, at that time (B) found out ) what this problem brings with (G)
▪When (G) heard something from the person who texted it and suddenly cried over what he read,
he sped off to his destination
This is (B) who was bullied in a public school, a girl changed her life in that school, and because
of that she changed her lives forever.

STORYLINE / PLOT

At punta Yung lalaki sa  mga ng binubully sa babae at sinabi ng nag lalaki subokan Yung lng ulit
sakta Yung kaibigan ko Ako n Yung makakalaban Yung 
7pm na pero hindi pa rin bumabalik si boy sa park. Hindi rin niya macontact. Kaya umuwi na
lang siya.

9pm. May natanggap na text si girl sa mga classmates niya. Patay na daw si boy dahil sa bugbog.
Hindi makapaniwala si girl sa nabalitaan niya.
Sa lamay ni boy, pumunta si girl. Kinausap ng nanay ni boy si girl.

SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT
Sa isang public highschool, may isang lalaki na laging binubully. That time, may isang babae ang gusto
siyang tulungan.
G: Okay ka lang ba,?
B: Hindi.
G: Tara kain tayo.
B: Bakit mo ko kinakausap?G: Gusto ko lang.
B: Ayaw nila sakin. Baka awayin ka rin nila.
G: So? Wala silang magagawa. Eh gusto kitang maging kaibigan eh. Ano? Kain na tayo?
B: ngumiti Tara
Isa Araw ay Naging magkaibigan sila. Tulad ng inaasahan ng boy, pati si girl ay binubully na din.
G: Ano ba!? Tigilan niyo nga ako.
ENEMY1: Hahaha. Kinaibigan mo kasi ang asungot na yun eh. Kaya pagtitripan ka din namin.
G: Wala kayong pake! Akin na yang bag ko!ALL ENEMY: Wooh! Hahaha!
Sa park, nakita ni boy si girl na umiiyak
B: Bakit ka umiiyak? Anong nangyari?
G: Wala.
B: nakita yung pasa ni girl sa kamay Binully ka nila?G: Wala yun.
B: Hindi na tama 'to. inabot ang kanyang panyo kay girl Huwag ka na umiyak. Sandali lang ah.
G: Saan ka pupunta?
B: Basta. takbo paalis
At punta Yung lalaki sa  mga ng binubully sa babae at sinabi ng nag lalaki subokan Yung lng ulit sakta

iha. Salamat. Dahil ikaw pa lang ang naiikwento ng anak ko na kaibigan niya. Minsan, nakikita ko na
siyang nakangiti tuwing papasok at pagkauwi galing school. Salamat iha.G: umiiyak pa rin*M: *inabot
ang isang diary Ito ang diary ng anak ko. Nakita ko ito sa kwarto niya. Nang mabasa ko, nandito lahat ang
mga kwento at sikreto niya.G: kinuha ang diary at binuklat*M: Tignan mo ang huli niyang sinulat.G:
Ahh, opo. *nilipat niya sa may huling pahina na may sulat, habang binabasa ni girl, napaiyak siya ng todo
"Ewan ko pero sa tingin ko, mahal ko na ang kaibigan ko."
