1 QUESTION:

ANSWER: Many sources say that the origins are connected to German folklore about
the “Osterhase” (“Easter bunny” in English) which laid eggs for children to find. It is
believed that German immigrants brought the tradition with them to America.

2 QUESTION:

ANSWER: This is due to the fact that Easter is determined by the Jewish calendar,
which is based on lunar cycles. Easter falls on the Sunday after the Passover full moon,
and explains the reason it takes place on a different date each year.
