Short Term and Long Term Goal

Goals are very necessary in order to have a focus as to what exactly

to spend our time and energy on. I have many personal and
professional Goals in my life and believe that fixing a goal  helps in
providing a sense of purpose and direction.

My Short term Goal is to graduate from University of……..  in the fall

2025.  I always dreamed of going abroad to study  in order to have a
quality education and to experience a new way of learning. I also
know that nothing is easier and there will be lots of challenges to
face in a totally new environment. My ultimate goal is making the
most of my university experience.

My long term Goal is to do a PHD in transportation engineering. I

also want to do research on making roads which are economically
feasible and also sustainable especially in underdeveloped
countries. I have seen people in my country facing lots of difficulties
due to the lack of transportation facilities. So my goal is to help
them by providing a good quality road so that they can get basic
transportation facilities. For this reason I want to pursue my
graduation in the university of…….
