PART 1

Open ArcMap Applications and open Catalog then create new folder name as Lab_5.

Right click on the new folder and select New, File Geodatabase.

1
Rename as Lab_5.gdb. Next, right click on Lab_5 folder and select New, Shapefile.

Name follow according briefing which is building, Feature Type select Polygon and click Edit.

2
Click on Geographic Coordinate Systems, World and then WGS 1984. Click OK.

Do the same for tree but for Feature Type select Point and for Road select Polyline.

3
Right click on tree layer and Open Attribute Table. Go to option table and select Add Field. Name as
typeoftree and Type as Text. Ensure that Field Properties is Length, 50. Click OK.

PART 2

Next, drag MontKiara.tif to layer in Table of Content.

Go to the top of the bar and click on Editor, Start Editing.

5
Click on tree and go to Construction Tools, select Point. Start plotting trees on the map.

For road digitize and plot using Line.

6
For building, digitize using Polygon and plot following the height of the building.

To insert data in the symbol, Open Attribute Table and Start Editing according to type of tree on the
site.

7
After finish editing data, Save Edits and Stop Editing.

Most of the Polygon cannot be shaped so the shape are not following the real data and not specific.

8
After that, to create image, go to ArcToolbox and select Projection and Transformation, Raster,
double click on Project Raster.

Input Raster choose MontKiara.tif and then Output Raster Dataset as Lab_5.gdb and rename as
image1 and then save. Next, for Output Raster Dataset select Geographic Coordinate Systems,

the box of Constrained Delaunay. Click OK.

11
This is the result.

Launch ArcScene and open Blank Scene.

12
Drag MontKiara.tif and put in ArcScene.

Add data and select TIN layer that have been created in the ArcMap.
