Assembly

STEP 1
Glue the "lipo_mount" part to "fs1", then glue the
"fs1-nose-fs2-fs3-fs4" parts together using CA glue. You can
insert the barbecue skewers (Ø3x12 mm) into the guiding
holes for each parts to facilitate assembly.

Never spray the accelerator directly onto the CA glue! Spray on

first piece and wait for 15 seconds to dry. Then you can aply
glue on the other piece and put the pieces together.

Note: Avoid excessive use of glue.

STEP 2
If you want to use push rod connectors, install them before
installing "tail_r and tail_l" parts to the fuselage. Breake
elevator flaps from it’s tiny connections and glue TPU or CA
hinge to the slots by inserting. Then you can install tail parts to
the fuselage and stick with CA glue.

Assemble "O-ring_11x2" and "wheel15" parts and install to the

fuselage by using 2 mm screw. You can use Servo Mounting
screws here.

Assembly

STEP 3
Install your servos (Better use Metal
Gear on this model). Assembly the
pushrods by through the inside of “fs3”
and install the rod connectors to the tail.

Push through a thicker rod which is

bigger than your pushrods into the
pushrod holes to clear it’s inside. This
will facilitate pushrod movement and
affect your servos performances.

Pushrods diameter: 1,2-1,6 mm

STEP 4
In this step you will need to spray directly onto the glue. Avoid
over spray usage because of it weakens adhesion.

Glue the "wing_r1" - “wing_r2” - “wing_r3” - “Ø4x250mm rod”

parts together.

Be sure the wing parts are sticking in a straight line.

Do the same for the left wing.

Assembly

STEP 5
Release flaps from the wing by breaking its tiny connections.

Glue carbon rod (Ø4x200 mm) to the aileron by positioned as

shown in image below. Avoid over CA usage and apply nice
and clear.

Do the same for the left wing.

Assembly

STEP 7
Asemble “aileron_holder” to the “aileron_rod” and glue to the
fuselage carefully. Make flap position zero, glue “aileron_horn”
90 degree upward to the “aileron_rod” by shown in images.

You can use single or twin servo for ailerons and use also
connectors for the pushrod linkage.

Now you can start to install all your electronics to the fuselage.

Screw your motor by using “motor_mount” to the “fs1_nose”.

There is a bigger motor mount option which is holds the

motor outside of the “fs_nose” if you want to use extra lage
brushless motor for Crow Racer.

You have 3 hatch option which is DJI AIR, Vista and Analog FPV
compatible. It’s almost compatible with all of FPV systems on
the market. Install your FPV system, assemble “hatch2” and
check your CG by taking your fingers on the marked CG point
under the wing.

You can also use it's little holes to set CG by hanging the model
from upside of the fuselage.

Assembly

STEP 11
Prepare quick release landing
gear (2mm steel wire). You can
use the plan below by printing
this page as %100 scale or you can
use dimensions.

Assemble the “oring_19x3” and

“wheel25” parts together and
install them into the “wheel_cap”.
(You can make a clear hole in the
"wheel25" by drilling with 2 mm
drill bit.)

Insert “wheel_cap” to the landing

gear and glue it by fitting it’s
reference slot.

Landing gear is an option, don't

use landing gear for racing flights.

Print Guide

The settings you should set according to your printer:

- Material Settings.
Printing Temperature
Buildplate Temperature
Flow (wall flow is important!)

- Travel Settings.
Retraction distance
Retraction speed

These settings might need adjustments according to your

printer or filament. You should print a wing part to test your
print quality. If your test print resulted in a succesful way then
you are ready to start the printing process for the rest of the
parts.

Note: 0,2 mm layer height is the best setting for the

Print Quality/Printing Time.

All parts are now pre-routed for Cura but if you want to print
several pieces together, orient the pieces at 45 degrees to the
bed. This way X and Y axis works coordinated and you can get
maximum surface quality. Default Z Seam is Front-Left.
