STEP DESCRIBE JOB STEP POTENTIAL HAZARDS HAZARD MANAGEMENT
1. Scaffolding  Falling of persons from heights and 1. Use of appropriate PPE – specially safety harness

used.
9. Training of persons to go over & work.
10. All brushes, tools for erection, paint contains shall
be carried properly and tied with fall preventor tag
lines while working.

  Confirmed and satisfied to the stability of stage
for withstand the load.
 Barricade / cordon with caution tape entire the
plate laying work area.
 Provide good and suitable means of access.
 After completion of welding of lower deck
thoroughly, and checked, then only allow people
to work underneath.
 Don’t allow unnecessarily people to work with
stage when their simultaneously laying work is
going on.
 The rope and pulley should be checked regularly
before commencement of work.
 Use only good hand tools and it should be fit for
the work.
Special Precaution (Before work):
 In night time proper and adequate lights should be provided and arranged.
 Emergency vehicle should be available at all time.
 First aider should be available at all time.
General Checklist (Before work):
1. Tool Box meeting should be conducted before the start of the each activity.
2. JSA to be strictly implemented.
3. Housekeeping around the tank area to be carried out at the beginning of each shift.
4. 100% supervision from staff level-Job will be commencing only if the concern supervisor is in control .
