LEADERSHIP TRAINING SEMINAR

PLANNING PHASE
Identified Goal: Participants adapt leadership skills and techniques for creating
high-performing teams and a culture of excellence.
Seminar Objectives:
 Identify leadership strengths and development needs;
 Create leadership development goals and define a leadership style;
 Establish communication channels and build trust with their teams;
 Learn core leadership principles and skills in key capability areas;
 Learn how to effectively accomplish work through others;
 Recognize that leadership is an ongoing process; and
 Balance current needs with long term strategic objectives.
ORGANIZING PHASE
 Chief, Admin Branch
 Prepare materials needed for seminar e.g., projector, mic, laptop etc
 Check attendance of staff and personnel present in the seminar
 Chief, Academics Branch
 Prepare venue (e-Library) for the seminar
 Prepare for a pre and post assessment for the participants
 Chief, Applied Tactics Branch
 Maintain order during seminar
 Chief, PIO
 Prepare communication to circulate about the seminar
 Ready certificates for participants and token for speaker
 Documentation of seminar
 Disbursing Officer
 Map out budget for seminar
STAFFING PHASE
Additional staffing is needed for the catering of foods and snacks for the
seminar, the management adds an external provider as food caterer during the said
undertaking.
LEADING PHASE
The Regional Training Director then called for a Staff Conference Meeting for
the giving out of assignments as well as hearing out other suggestions from the staff
and personnel for the betterment of the seminar.
CONTROLLNG PHASE
A day before the said event the Regional Training Director called for another
Staff Conference Meeting to check on the accomplishments of assignments and to
extend help to the branch which has a hard time accomplishing their assignments.
There were pre and post assessment test given out to the participants to
measure their learned skill after the seminar and map out possible interventions for
possible lacking.
