Requirements for travellers entering Singapore

Guests who travel via the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) from Brunei to Singapore are required to comply with the
following requirements.

Application and Prerequisite

Pre-depature

● Have remained in Brunei Darussalam or any of the VTL countries in the last 7 days
● Obtain Exit Approval from the Prime Ministers’ Office (PMO) through the Travel Portal.
● To register through MFA portal - http://www.mfa.gov.bn/Pages/eRegister.aspx
● Apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) for the specific entry period into Singapore. Children aged 12 and below
in the calendar year (i.e. in the year 2021, those who are born in or after 2009) are exempted from this
requirement.
● Be fully vaccinated. This means you must have received two (2) doses of approved COVID-19 vaccine and depart
at least 14 days after receiving your second dose. Children aged 12 and below in the calendar year (i.e. in the
year 2021, those who are born in or after 2009) are exempted from this requirement.
● Undergo a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test at an internationally accredited or recognised
laboratory/clinic or undergo a professionally administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) within 2 days before
departure to Singapore. Self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is not accepted as a valid pre-departure
COVID-19 test. Children aged two (2) and below (in the calendar year) are exempted from this requirement.

At Check-In

● Provide evidence of a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test result for COVID-19 test or a negative
professionally administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) taken within 2 days before departure to Singapore.
Self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is not accepted as a valid pre-departure COVID-19 test. Children aged
two (2) and below (in the calendar year) are exempted from this requirement.
● Present proof of vaccination status through the BruHealth app on their mobile devices at airport check-in and
upon arrival at Changi. The Brunei-issued vaccination booklet (yellow booklet) is not listed as an acceptable proof
of vaccination, therefore will not be recognised at airport check-in and upon arrival at Changi.
● Present Exit Approval from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and a valid Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP).

On Arrival

● Undergo supervised self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at a Quick Test Centre (QTC) or Combined Test
Centre (CTC) within 24 hours of arrival in Singapore. Children aged two (2) and below (in the calendar year) are
exempted from PCR-test for COVID-19 upon arrival.

Pre-departure

1. Undergo a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test at an internationally accredited or recognised
laboratory/clinic 2 days before departure to Brunei Darussalam

3. Obtain Arrival Declaration Form Approval from PMO no more than 24 hours before departure. -

Arrival

1. Undergo arrival RT-PCR / ART test


2. Serve mandatory self-isolation at declared hotel accommodation until receipt of negative arrival RT-PCR test
3. Undergo a Day 5 COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (SARS-COV-2 RT-PCR) test at the designated swab centre
(RIPAS Hospital Sports Complex in Brunei) and remain self-isolated at your declared accommodation until a
negative result is returned.
