    LEARNER TASK WEEK 3 AND 4

    What’s the News!

    You are an investigative journalist. Find news items showing companies with corporate governance
    problems here in the Philippines or abroad. Coordinate with classmates, your chosen company should be
    not duplicated.

    Answer the following Guide Questions

    1. Brief background of the company? History, Location, Founders, CEO, number of employees, products and
    services offered?

    2. How does the dilemma arise? Discuss thoroughly

    3. Cite possible connection in basic principles of corporate governance that is being violated in this case?

    4. If you were given a chance to become a CEO of this company, what decision you can do to protect the
    company from this position?

    5. Be creative in your presentation, use google slides to show important items on your case.

    6. This is a group activity compose of three members. Your roles are as a researcher finding facts about the
    case, the editor, and the presenter.

    7. Video should be in a maximum of 3-4 minutes.
