Introduction.

Texas, is a state located in the southern region of the United States. In both size and
population, it is the second largest state in the United States; it covers 696,200 km² and has a
population of 24.7 million, which is constantly increasing.

Located in the South region. Bordered to the south the Mexican states of Chihuahua,
Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, and the U.S. states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New

Texas was part of six independent countries throughout its history: Spain, France,
Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the Confederate States of America and the United States.
That is why these six flags were chosen, so that all countries were represented on the
back of the stamp.

Big Bend National Park: Big Bend National Park is one of the least visited parks in the

coast, from Corpus Christi to the Mexican border. A major birding spot in Texas, the Padre
