I read your letter and I’m very excited that you are planning on coming to Georgia! I know you really love
exploring beautiful nature of Georgia, so according to that I though you’d love visiting Gergeti trinity
church. It is located in Kazbegi municipality and is 2200 meters above sea level. The nature is stunning
and it’s a perfect place to visit if you are looking for some adventure. The monastery is about 1km from
the village Gergeti and there are a lot of reasonably-priced hotels nearby. It takes about 30 minutes to 1
hour to walk from the village to the monastery, but you can take taxi as well.

You also asked me what clothes and equipment to bring. If I were you, I’d pack some really warm clothes
with me, because it gets really cold there. I’d recommend boots, sweater and a warm coat. Also, the
scenery is breathtaking so don’t forget the camera for some memorable pictures as well.
