This advocacy aims to raise awareness, to educate, and to create greater

impact on respecting local habitat. It has four salient features which are
all equally important for the realization of this advocacy.

Salient Features

1. RAISING AWARENESS AND EDUCATING THE YOUTH

ON CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

This advocacy is particularly addressed

to the youth because they are easy to
gather, they easily understand
information, and they are also more
open to listen to newer perspectives.
Given their age, they are also expected
to live in the planet longer. It is also
important to educate them about
cultural stewardship because there are
still cultural practices that negatively
affect biodiversity.

2. CONSERVING AND PRESERVING LOCAL HABITATS

(HABITAT RESTORATION)

This advocacy aims to conserve and

preserve local habitat to ensure the
long-term survival of life in the planet.

3. REDUCING WASTE FROM HUMAN ACTIVITIES,
EVENTS, AND OPERATIONS

During the conduct of all the activities

in line with this advocacy, especially
those to be conducted in natural
habitats, we shall make sure that the
advocates and the participants will
maintain cleanliness, reduce waste, and
be good example to others. The little
things matter, because it is important
that we live by what we advocate.

4. SAFEGUARDING BIODIVERSITY

Biodiversity is important in maintaining

habitats. In order to protect them, we
need to make positive changes in our
day-to-day lives, no matter how small it
might me. To create big impact, we need
to start somewhere, and it would be
easier if we start with ourselves.
