Greetings of peace!

The Preparation of Barangay Development Plan (BDP) and Barangay Capacity Development
(CAPDEV) Agenda are mandated by the Local Government Code of 1991. These tools are our
basis of putting up the desired projects and programs and strengthen capacity of our barangay
considering the very limited resources.

Our best efforts to strengthen and to be able to bring about effective and efficient delivery of
public service for progress and prosperity of barangay and in order to uplift the living
conditions of its people considering life is in its stage when crises are too complex to handle.
The formulation of the Barangay Development Plan is considered as one of the most
appropriate system in the utilization of the barangay’s very limited resources.

The adoption of the Barangay Development Plan and Barangay Capacity Development Agenda is
a certainty that even with all odds and seemingly inseparable task to attain our objectives for
development, we can carry on our vision for a more progressive life.

Lastly, my sincere/heartfelt gratitude to the Department of the Interior and Local Government
(DILG) in coming up with the Barangay Development Plan and Barangay Capacity Development
Agenda which paved way to the formulation of these plans.
