III. Procedure:
B. Recall / Review
The teacher will examine the students’ mastery of the previous lesson,
entitled What Happen when Volcano Erupts, Quarter 3 – Module 2. Through a
game called WIKARAMBULAN. All students have a chance to participate, and the
one who will be the first to raise their hand in G-meet will proceed to guess the
presented word/s. After he/she guesses the right word/s he/she has a chance to
choose a person to define what it is.
C. Motivation
The teacher will give to sets of activities which is called NAME ME! and
CRACK THE CODE! for encouragement of students to participate in the future
class discussion.
c1. The teacher will show the example image of Earth and its internal part and then,
students should label the Earth’s internal part and arrange it from coolest to hottest.
c2. The students should need to reveal the mystery words or group of words by
finding each substitute letter or its corresponding symbol.
d1. Asking students questions that will build their interest about the topic.
d2. Letting the students watch example video clips on how Geothermal Energy
functions in a simple way.
d3. Presenting the topic Geothermal Energy, and discussing the important benefits
for the community and environment.
d4. Distinguish the different Geothermal Power Plants in the Philippines.
d5. Conducting a simple experiment demonstrates the use of steam for spinning a
turbine which is used to generate electricity in a real geothermal power plant.
IV. Generalization.
The teacher will ask the students to choose from the “emojis”. Each emoji has a
question that class will have to answer. The questions will be based on the entire
discussion and will serve as the generalization of today’s lesson.
Students will measure on how they mastered the geothermal energy principle
by sharing information they acquired on the topic.
VII. Evaluation.
Through the use of CONCEPT MAP, the students will give five descriptions of
geothermal energy which depends on how they understand the lesson.
VIII. Assignment
