1. Informal
- Informal involves the evaluation basing on one's opinion or perspective. As a matter of fact, we
have different views or opinions regarding on education, culture, and history. For instance, in
relation to culture, comparing the people living in Ifugao to the citizens of Manila, people would
easily determine and and will have opinions such as people living in Ifugao have cultures and
practices to follow such as "paniyo" while people in Manila have practices too like
"pagmamano."

2. Formal Research
- Formal research is almost the same with scientific research. However, scientific research is
detailed. Even the smaller parts that are not necessarily need to be tackled is being discussed. In
formal research, there are methods to be followed. This involves gathering and evaluating. An
example of formal research is conducting election online.

3. Substantive evaluation
- Substantive evaluation is concern to the people. The general welfare and development of the
society, in general. Policy makers can discussed issues that would benefit the people such as
education and job opportunities.
