different numbers you should call depending on the reason for your call. In

directly to the authorities from Greece, here are a few numbers you need to
know:

If you are thinking of traveling here by car, you should comprehend the
following things. You must always have an International Driving Permit IDP, a
translation of your driving license in the 12 most used languages, and is
mandatory in Greece and most foreign countries. Although it sounds like a
hassle, it can be obtained effortlessly. Also, don't forget to bring your state-
issued driving license. Two US-based agencies can provide you with an IDP, the
American Automobile Associations (AAA) and the National Automobile Club
(NAC). In addition, applying for an international driver's license is effortless. All

minimum age for driving is 18 and for renting a car is 21, however, this does
not apply to motorcycles. Children under the age of 12 should always sit in age
and size-appropriate restraints while in the automobile. In Greece, the speed
limit for urban streets is 50km/h, outside the city perimeter, it is 80km/h, and
on the highway, only 100km/h. Speed tickets can be anywhere between €40
and €750. Here, most of the road signs are , both in Greek and English so, this

International Driving Licence.
