                                  A Delicate Victorian Style Tea Set

 
 

This tea set is a 15-piece set made of Bone China. It includes 6 cup, 6 saucer plates, a creamer
for the milk, a sugar bowl and a teapot. It has a floral pattern on all of its pieces, with flowers of
different colors, shapes and sizes. The floral pattern consists of big pink flowers, small tangerine
flowers and soft fern leaves. The floral pattern does not cover the whole piece but rather forms a
ring around each of the pieces. On each of the pieces there are golden contour lines that are on
the top, the base and also on the handles highlighting the curves.

  The set being made of porcelain has a smooth glossy texture, is lightweight, and is extremely
delicate and the user has to be cautious while using it.

  The cups are 6.5 cm in diameter on the top, the base is 3.5 cm in diameter and the height of the
cup is 6.5 cm. The handles are placed at a comfortable distance, so the user’s fingers do not
touch the cup which helps while the cup when it is filled with hot beverage. The base of the cups
fits into the saucers so the cup does not move accidently.

 The creamer, which is never actually used in our house, house has a curved top so the milk can
be poured easily. The sugar bowl has a lid on top to cover it when not in use. The lid has a
vertical handle which is wider on the end in order to be held hold it easilyi. The teapot is 18 cm
long and has a diameter of 20 cm on the top. It has a lid on top identical to the lid on the sugar
