- enables turning back or
bouncing back of light.
• Plane mirror

Plane mirror
- a flat surfaced mirror.
Two Types:
1. Convex mirror
2. Concave mirror
Convex mirror
- inward side.
- also known as diverging mirror.
- is a curved mirror in which the reflective
surface bulges towards the light source.
Concave mirror
- outward side.
- also known as converging mirror.
- has a reflecting surface that is recessed
inward (away from the incident light).
• When an object is reflected in a mirror then created
object seen by our eyes is called image.
Kinds:
• Virtual image
- it appears to be located behind the mirror.
• Real image
- are those image that can be projected.
