IT Support Specialist

The purpose of this writing is to provide an explanation in support of why I am a better choice as an IT
support specialist. I shall be starting with a formal introduction of my academic background. I am currently
enrolled in Master’s in computer science at Technical University of Clausthal. I graduated in the same field
from Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Pakistan

During my course of study in BZU, I, fortunately, not only acquired theoretical knowledge but also got
provided with an opportunity to apply that knowledge into the practical world. I worked at Hydro II PVT
LTD in Pakistan for a year and three months, and six months internship at Next bridge. The process of
going through the requirements of the available designation at your company was a moment of
excitement for me because I think I am perfect for the job. I have thorough knowledge of Virtual Box,
VMware Workstation, Tape Libraries, Windows server, and Microsoft 365. And more importantly I am very
passionate about learning new things: thus, a very good choice for the company.

I started working as an intern for an IT specialist at Next Bridge during the days of my university and
working there helped me a great deal. I was able to convert the theoretical knowledge I had obtained in
the university into the practical problems and their solutions. And in addition to that, it also added to my
personality the confidence which I really needed. Although, currently, I would call myself an IT specialist of
level 2 with thorough knowledge of Virtual Box, VMware Workstation, Windows server, and Microsoft 365,
but I am in the process of learning, and I shall soon be an expert in cloud computing also.

Following are the my accomplishments:

● Thorough knowledge of Virtual Box, and VMware Workstation.

● Thorough knowledge of Tape Libraries, Windows server, and Office 365.

● Creating virtual machines and virtual networks.

● Detection hardware and software issues and upgrading of antivirus to prevent any issue.

● Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting.

● Manage active directory, user and computer accounts, file sharing rights and permissions.

● Install and configure software and hardware.

● Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

● Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.

● Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
