TOPIC: International Phonetic Alphabet.

MAIN AIM: Students will practice and use the international phonetic alphabet
in a game.

TARGET: students will test their knowledge about the international phonetic
alphabet through a series of questions with different types of difficulty and with an
entertaining dynamic that will help them review what they have seen in class
about the subject.

PERSONAL AIM: As a personal objective, we have that students easily


understand the game and enjoy it and that it is also useful to identify their
knowledge on the subject.

GAME DURATION TIME: 20 minutes.

MATERIALS:

-3 shoe boxes
-3 stuffed animals
-6 Styrofoam balls
-6 colored sheets
-36 cards with questions
-1 answer sheet
-2 sheets of mica
-6 sheets for students to answer

PROCEDURE:

The teacher divides the group into three teams.

The teacher accommodates them in the place where they are going to compete.

The teacher gives them the sheets that they are going to use.

The teacher tells them how much time they have.

The teacher explains to them what the game consists of.

The teacher asks them if they have doubts or questions.

The teacher gives them an example of how it is.

The teacher asks one to explain what it is like to verify that they have
understood.

The teacher starts the game.

The teacher monitors that they do it well.

the teacher with the help of a stopwatch takes the time they have.

The teacher is attentive to her students

The teacher tells them when the time is up.

The teacher checks who answered more questions

The teacher announces the winner.

The teacher gives a prize to the winner.

The teacher thanks them for their attention.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Students are placed on their team.

One person from the team will receive a stuffed animal.

The person with the stuffed animal will have to throw it and insert it into the box
that corresponds to their team.

Once the stuffed animal is inserted in the box, the contestant will be able to exit
through the card with the question.

They will have to run through the card and return it to their team so that they can
all solve it together.

Once they have the answer, they will write it down on the sheet given by the
teachers.

Everyone needs to insert the stuffed animal into the box in order to progress
through the card. It is mandatory.

They have 10 minutes to do that.

The person who answers the most questions correctly wins.
