Upgrades Effect Requirement

Extended Increase the Range to 24 yards -

Precise Blast You add your Accuracy (Arcane Blast) Focus to damage rolls with the Arcane Blast Power Blast
Focused Blast You can reroll a failed Arcane Blast attack roll and take the better result once per -
encounter
Channeling Once per Encounter, you can channel your Arcane Blast into the attack of a melee or Focused
Blast ranged weapon; including an unarmed attack. You use your Accuracy (Arcane Blast) to Blast
make the attack as opposed to the normal ability and focus. You then add your current
Arcane Blast Damage to the weapon, but not its range
Piercing Blast All damage from the Arcane Blast is now Piercing Power Blast
Explosive Once per Encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to explode. If you succeed in -
Blast hitting your initial target, it explodes in a 10-yard area from the main target at its
center. All within this range must pass a Dexterity (Acrobatics) Test vs. your Potency or
they also suffer damage. You must roll separate damage for each target
Mental Blast Once per encounter, you can instead target an opponent’s Composure Defense as Extended
opposed to Dodge. The damage for the attack becomes Penetrating since it attacks Blast
their mind directly
Miasmic Blast If you hit a target with a Mental Blast, they must pass a Willpower (Self-Discipline) Test Mental Blast
vs. your Potency or they are stunned for the next 2 combat rounds in addition to taking
normal damage
Booming Blast Once per encounter, you can trigger your blast to make a deafening sound. All within 10 Extended
yards of your when you fire the Blast must make a Constitution (Stamina) Test vs. your Blast
Potency or they are Deafened for the next 2 rounds. Not only will they suffer from the
Deafened Condition, they also take a -2 to all their Defenses for the duration
Split Blast You can target up to 2 people with your Arcane Blast so long as they are not further -
than 5 yards apart when you do this. You make one attack per target and resolve
damage separately
Hemorrhaging Once per Encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to deal Bleeding Damage equal Power Blast
Blast to your Willpower on your Target for the next 2 combat rounds if they fail a
Constitution (Stamina) Test vs. your Potency
Shadow Blast Once per Encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to Blind a target for the next 2 Extended
combat rounds. They automatically fail Attack rolls and Perception Tests based on sight Blast
for Duration if they fail a Constitution (Stamina) Test vs. your Potency
Fatiguing Once per Encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to impose one Degree of Fatigue Power Blast
Blast on a target if they fail a Willpower (Self-Discipline) Test vs. your Potency. If they already
have one degree of Fatigue, they suffer the next degree
Disintegration Once Per encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to reduce the AR of the targets Power Blast
Blast armor by 1 point. This reduction occurs after the damage is resolved on this attack
Forceful Blast Once per Encounter, if you hit with your Arcane Blast, you knock the target Prone and Power and
they move 2 yards backwards Extended
Blast
Vampiric Blast Once per encounter, you can trigger your Arcane Blast to become Vampiric. All damage -
you deal to the target is given back to your Health in healing magic

At Levels 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20; you get an Arcane Blast Upgrade. You can select one of the following Arcane
Blast Upgrades at those levels to increase its effectiveness in combat.
