Media
-It describes the various channels society uses for communication. Since it encompasses all
forms of communication, anything from a phone call to the evening news on TV can be referred to as
media.
Media Culture
-The idea of media culture implies its influence on the intellectual direction and information
consumption of society. Since it has an impact on societal opinions, values, tastes, attitudes, and
informational accessibility, it tends to play a significant role in the formation of mainstream culture.
3. PRINTING PRESS- The printing press is a tool that makes it possible to produce large quantities of
consistently printed materials, primarily text in the form of books, pamphlets, and newspapers. In the
country where it originated, China, it revolutionized society.
1. It altered knowledge in its very essence. It maintained information that was more malleable in
oral cultures. It standardized knowledge as well.

religious authority. The development of schools and public literacy were aided by the printing
press.
5. DIGITAL MEDIA- The computer is regarded as the media that has the greatest influence on
globalization. Computers have changed cultural life and provided access to a global market. Digital
media has revolutionized our way of life. Through access to the information provided by computers,
people are able to adopt and adapt new practices in a variety of areas, including fashion, sports,
music, food, and many others.
