INTRODUCTION – This chapter presents the manner by which the research will be
achieved. It includes discussion on the research design, Materials and equipment that will be
used in this study as well as the data gathering procedure and the data analysis.

RESEARCH DESIGN –

SUBJECT –

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT – The materials and equipment needed for this
research are the following;

Materials Equipment
Arduino-UNO Hammer
Pipes Pliers
Water Tank Plumbing tools
Rain Sensor Screw Driver
9V Battery
Automatic Valve
Sprinklers

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE – The data gathering procedure that will be used in
this research is observational procedure in which the researchers will observe the results of the
programs, whether it is currently following the expected results or not. The researchers will also
observe the water pressure of the sprinkler to avoid any accidents to the plants in the garden
PROCESS FLOWCHART

Gather and prepare all the materials and equipment needed

Connect the rain sensor to the Arduino as well as the battery

and automatic valve

Connect the Arduino to a laptop and upload the

program/code to the Arduino

Connect the pipes to the automatic valve and attach the

sprinklers to the pipes

Connect the pipes to the water tank to start testing

Turn the program on and check and adjust the water

pressure
