059439. Im here to propose the price of the proposed computer network solution. There are a few tools
such as router, wireless access point, switch and cable in the proposed computer network solution.
Since the proposal is for hospital we decided to suggest a well-known brand which is TP Link. We would
like provide a quality product so it can last long and do not cause any problem for a long period
hopefully.

The router, we have chosen TP-Link TL-ER7206 which is SafeStream Gigabit Multi Wan VPN Router.
The price of a router is RM 1099 and we decided to fix 3 routers in the hospital to cover the whole
hospital. Therefore they cost total up to RM 3297.

Next is Wireless Access Point, we have chosen TP-LINK TL-WA901N 450MBPS WIRELESS N ACCESS
POINT. The price of a Wireless Access Point is RM 140 and we decided to fix 16 WAPs all around the
hospital to enhance the wireless specification interoperability and facilitates instant
connectivity for general inquiry and patient-monitoring services. They cost total up to RM
6594.

Thirdly, Switch where we have decided to use TP-Link TL-SG3428MP Switch where it cost RM 1099 for
each. We proposed to use 6 switches in hospital where they all cost RM 6594.

Last but not least, Cable where we decided to go with 50m Outdoor Cat6 STP FTP LAN Network cable
which is cost RM 235 each. Based on the proposal, we have decided to use 20 cables which is 50m
long each and total 1000m length cable. They cost total up to RM 4700.

Hence, the total budget is RM 16 831 to cover the whole hospital’s computer network.
