Annotation:
The student was not able to get the whole module for the 1 st and 2nd quarters.
During my home visitation I was able to talk to him and the reason he was not
able to get the module because he was sick, grieving for his mother’s death
and members of the family are busy at work. I followed the IATF protocol
during my visit.

Annotation:
I already noticed that the student was still not able to get the 2 nd and 3rd
quarter modules, so I have to make extra effort doing the follow up with his
brother through cellphone and handset radio. Later, I have the chance to talked
to the father promised to get the modules through his brother.

I am happy that the student was able to return his responses to determine his

Annotation:
The WHLP aids teachers to keep track about the learning process that
suitable for the learners in Grade 9. It is more concise based on the Most
Essential Learning Competencies or MELC. Moreover, the competencies,
learning objectives, performance tasks and the learning outputs, etc. are still
evident in the teaching learning process.

Annotation:
Here are some of the Asynchronous activities that I checked via
online. It only means that the student understands the instructions
in their modules, and the outputs of the learners are aligned with
the learning competencies.

Strategies

Annotation:
Before the School Year started, I created a group chat via messenger for my 7 sections that I am
handling In our group chat, I organized my assessment through posting the pdf file and instructions as
well. I also uploaded video lesson provided by ETULAY under the Deped Live. I encouraged them to
watch the video lesson and do the Enrichment activities. Because of these strategies the students will
have an easy access to utilize the lesson for that day in blended learning.

4.5 - Teaching and Learning Resources Including ICT

Annotation:
Every asynchronous class, I send the lesson thru fb group and messenger group. We used video
presentations so that the students will be able to understand the lesson well. I used Google Meet
platform once in a while but most of the time I communicate with my classes through messenger as
blended learning. As blended learning we also use Radio based Instruction to ease and support
distance learning.

Annotation:
Seminars and trainings in this time of pandemic indeed a big help for the teachers.
Especially the utilization of gadgets and social media platform. It helps us to improve our
professional growth. Those certificates shown above were part of my PD specifically the
INSET. Most of the topics during INSET were about the use of technologies, I applied it
by making more interactive supplementary materials for our pupils. I am also learning
innovative strategies and techniques that will benefit by our pupils’ educational growth even
in this a midst of crisis.

Reflective Essay:
Yes, this collection of work reflects my abilities and
achievements in my performance this year through this LDM
Course. Despite of the crisis that we are facing, I strive hard to
educate and reach out the parents and learners to ensure that
their learning will not be compromised by the pandemic. Through
social media platforms, learning becomes easier and more
accessible to every learner.
In order to continue my professional growth and development,
I have been attending various seminars and trainings that are
helpful in my career. It improves my teaching strategies in times
of this hardship.
Over-all this Practicum Portfolio does not only reflect my
efforts and my performances but also, I earned knowledge and
experiences in promoting and ensuring that quality education is
achieved.

5.2 - Monitoring and Evaluation of
Learner Progress and Achievement

Annotation:
This is one of our ways of meeting parent and guardian. We meet them through facebook live or
through google meet. Feedback and recommendations where given both by teachers and parents in order to
facilitate learning and safety of the students.

5.3 - Feedback to improve learning

Annotation:
Connection is difficult in this hard times but I made it possible to connect with parents
through messenger or text messaging. I always give feedback on every pupil’s output during
distribution and retrievals of modules and Learning Activity Sheets. I give more information and
affirmation to my students to lift their spirit and enthusiasm to learn more.

Annotation:
In this time of pandemic, social media platforms are very vital. In our school, we usually used
Google meet, messenger, facebook and alike to communicate. It helps us to disseminate the information
and submit all the reports easily. We do our LAC session virtually due to pandemic. Through our LAC
session, an approach where to raise our concerns and issues about our pupils’ educational growth. We
attended professional activities such as INSET and other virtual seminars related to our subjects to
continuously acquire significant insights to improve our teaching and learning abilities even in this
pandemic.

Teacher-Parent’s Communication is very important. I scheduled meetings thru google meet so that I can
address the needs and progress of my pupils. Last time, I conducted a face-to-face meetings together with the
selected parents to talk to them personally about the difficulties encountered during online classes. I see to it
that; everybody follows the health protocols.
