NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF 2nd QUARTER 2019

NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED)

In preparation for the 2nd Quarter Earthquake drill, San Pascual Elementary School
conducted the said activity on June 20, 2019 at exactly 2:00 in the afternoon.

Conducting the drills aimed to ensure the safety of the pupils, teachers, parents and staffs
during such casualty/ disasters that may occur. The disaster management group also seeks to help
school administrators and their disaster action groups to design a specific plan of the school for
earthquakes.

To be familiarized with the drills, the disaster management groups frequently conduct
drills for it to be embedded to the minds of our young pupils. This also reduces the risk of
damages and also helps them to be more aware of do’s and don’ts before, during and after the
disasters.

The Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) was participated by our school.
The pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders actively participate in the orientation of the
Earthquake drill by the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordinator.

In conclusion the activity was successfully executed through the management of our very
active and supportive School Head and also with the help of School DRRM Coordinator together
with the teachers.
