EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 2 SERIES 2020

RE-ORGANIZING THE MUNICIPAL INTER-AGENCY COMMITTEE (MIAC) OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CONCEPCION, PROVINCE OF ROMBLON

WHEREAS, the Municipal Inter-Agency Committee will serve and supervise the
implementation of the KALAHI CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program;

WHEREAS, the Inter-Agency Committee through the area coordinating team will
monitor the capability of the Local Government Unit Staff and Community Volunteers in
monitoring and evaluating the performance and compliance of the municipality and his
participating barangays in the implementation of the project, programs and activities;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Inter-Agency Committee will promote and support the
active engagement of the citizens and other organizations in design, planning and
implementation of PPA’s in poverty reduction program and in the implementation of the
KALAHI CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Inter- Agency Committee will serve the

institutionalization of people’s participation, transparency and social accountability, and
development and implementation of strategies to mainstream the same in LGU
development planning and poverty reduction programs, plans and activities;

NOW THEREFORE, I, MEDRITO F. FABRAG, JR., Municipal Mayor of Concepcion,

Romblon, by virtue of powers vested in me by law, do hereby reconstitute the Municipal
Inter-Agency Committee in this Municipality.

SECTION 1. COMPOSITION

Municipal Inter- Agency Committee shall be composed of the following:

SECTION 2. FUNCTION OF THE MUNICIPAL INTER-AGENCY COMMITTEE ARE THE

FOLLOWING:

1. Assist Community Volunteers in undertaking procurement in fair and transparent

manner and to defend the community- based procurement from any and all attempt
to undue influence.
 2. To assist the program in helping volunteers to:

a. Manage financial transactions in accordance with existing rules and regulations,

and
b. To ensure social financial management system.
3. Create mechanism for regular LGU- Civil Society (CSO) consultation and dialogue,
and
4. To encourage PO-NGO participation in program implementation, and independent
monitoring system.

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY

The reconstitute of the Municipal Inter-Agency Committee of the Municipality of

Concepcion, Province of Romblon shall take effect immediately.
