Instructions for Party Printable’s

This is a recommendation to achieve best results for your party!

•Basic Supples Recommended:

Paper (photo paper, brochure paper and/or cardstock. I use Neenah Bright White 65
lb. Cardstock) scissors, hot glue, ribbon, scotch tape, wood dowels/wood skewers/
lollipop sticks for cupcake toppers and centerpieces, small hole punch, circle
craft punches, and adhesive paper.
•Our Printable Files:
All of our files are sent in .pdf format (Invitations will also include .jpeg format).
They will be emailed to your email on file with Etsy. They will be sent as a clickable
downlaod link using a file sharing website, Dropbox or Crafthub. When you receive
the email with your images, open the link and download your files to your computer.
From there you are able to print as many times as you like! Just be sure to download
all your files as we are only able to keep them for 60 days before they are deleted.
If you need your files recovered after the 60 days there will be a fee to redo them.
•Open File with Adobe Reader:
You will need Adobe Reader to open and print the .pdf files. It is availabe free to
download from adobe.com.

•Paper for Home Printing:

I recommend printing using a premium weight 8.5”x11” sheets of photo paper in soft
gloss or matte finish for invitations. Most decor items I use Neenah Bright White 65lb.
Premium Cardstock and adhesive full sheet label paper (such as Aver #8165). Both
papers can be purchased at a local office supply store or onlin from retailers such
as Amazon.
•Print Settings:
All designs are set to print with a borderless margin. Be sure your printer is set to
borderless, marginless, or full bleed 8.5”x11” print. It this setting isn’t changed your
deisgns will not print the correct size and/or may cut off around the edges.
•Using a Print Service:
You are welcome to use a print service such as officemax or local print shop. Make sure
you check all your files and save them to a flash drive before going to the store. Some
stores do allow you to upload designs to their website for printing. Request your
printables to be printed on a semi-gloss or silk finish card stock for a more professional
looking print. If your printer requires a bleed for the invitation please let us know
and we will make the changes to your files for you. ( I do not recommend Staples
or Fedex/Kinkos due to numerous customer issues with their services)

•COLOR VARIATIONS:
Colors vary from one computer moniter to the next, and also between differnt printers.
K&K design works is not responsible for resulting color variations. Please open the files on
a computer not a phone or tablet. If you do it will result in colors appearing “neon/
flourescent”. There is no refunds or design changes due to the variations in colors.
•Adhesive Paper for making stickers:
To print any of the files as a sticker, please use adhesive paper that has no template
cuts. For water and drink wraps I reommend using paper from onlinelabels.com, item
OL713. Choose white, weatherproof glossy paper with NO template cuts. This will
ensure if your drinks are refrigerated or on ice the label will remain on the bottle.
Otherwise, I use Avery #8165 for items. Print the files, then cut out using scissors or craft
punches. Sticker paper is available at most office supple stores or online.
•Basic Supples Recommended:
I recommend for best results using craft punches in sizes 1.5”, 2”, 2.5”, and 3”. You
can find them at any craft store or online from retailers such as amazon.com. The
hershey kiss circles require a 3/4” circle punch. For more detail some designs can be
punched using a scallop craft punch as well.
•Cupcake Toppers, Circles, and Wrappers.
Cut the circles out using scissors or craft punches. Next, hot glue a lollipop stick or
coffee stirrer onto the back of the circles. Then you can attach the backgrounds behind
the circles for added decoration. Toppers are to be cut out using scissors and attached
to lollipop or coffee stirrers also. For wrappers, wrap around pre-baked cupcakes and
attach with a piece of tape in the back or with hot glue.
•Banners:
Cut each banner piece out using scissors or a paper cutter. Punch two holes on the top
corners of each piece using a small hole punch. Next, string a ribbon through to hang,
being sure to leave extra ribbon on the ends to allow for hanging. Alternate ways
to hang are taping the pieces to the ribbon/string, or by using shorter pieces of tulle
or ribbon to string them together and tying bows in between pieces.
•Favor Tags:
Cut out the tags with scissors or paper cutter. you can attach tag to favor by either
taping, hot glue, or punch a small hole at top and attach with ribbon or string.
•Water Bottle Wraps/Juice Wraps:
For best results, and also to be water proof for refrigerating or putting on ice, use
onlinelabels.com item OL713. Use the 8.5”x11” white glossy weatherproof sticker paper
with no template cuts. If you won’t be refridgerating or having them on ice, you can
use photo, brochure, or sticker paper. Either paper needs to be cut out with scissors or
a paper cutter, then attach using either the adhesive sticker paper or by tape or
hot glue.
•Treat Bag Toppers:
Cut out each topper with scissors or a paper cutter. Fold the topper in half, then over
a 4”x6” ziploc bag that is pre-filled with your favors. Staple the bottom the the topper
to the bag, or attach with glue.
•Centerpiece Circles & Cutouts:
Cut out circles and cutouts just outside the line of the design with scissors. To hang from
the ceiling or light fixture punch hole and string with ribbon. You may also attach to a
wood dowel or skewers (available at craft or hardware stores) with hot glue. Then
insert into foam, stand, or dish.
•Napkin/Bubble Bottle Wraps:
Cut out each wrap using scissors or paper cutter. Then wrap around napkin filled with
utensils, attach with tape on back or with glue. If using for bubbles you can also print
on adhesive paper. Solid color bubbles can be found at party supply stores or dollar
stores usually.
•Door, Activity, and other Signs:
Cut out using scissors or paper cutter. For added embelishment attach to a 12”x12”
craft paper. You can also punch two holes at the top and string with ribbon for hangin.
•Straw/Toothpick Flags;
Cut out with scissors and fold around straw or toothpick. Use hot glue to secure front
and back together. You may also print on adhesive paper.
•Candy Wraps:
Print onto paper of your choice or adhesive paper. Cut out with scissors or paper cutter
and wrap around Hershey candy bars (full size or mini size). Use tape or hot glue to
secure at the back if not using adhesive sticker paper.
•Hershey Kiss Circles:
Print onto 8.5”x11” adhesive sticker paper. Cut out with a 3/4” craft punch or scissors.
Attach at bottom of the kiss. YOu may also print on paper and attach using hot glue.
•Food Labels:
Cut out with scissors or paper cutter. Fold down the center to create a “tent”. For circles
or condiment labels, print and cut out, then attach either to a bottle or toothpick with
hot glue. Also, the blank labels can be used to type your own label items. Just import
the blank file into a word processing program and type over the design.
•Coordinating Paper:
These are printable papers that match the design & patterns of your decor set. You can
use them in any way you wish or as you would scrapbooking paper. Some ideas for other
uses includes backgrounds for signs, wraps for napkins, popcorn/treat cones, placemats,
etc.
•Invitations:
Our invitations are formated at 5”x7” in size. For at home printing, print 2 per page on
premium photo paper in matte or soft gloss finish. Cut out with scissors or paper cutter.
Use an A7 or 5”x7” envelope for mailing.
•Thank you cards:
Our thank you cards are formatted as 4”x6” in size. Cut out with scissors or a paper
cutter. Mail using an A6 envelope.
•Envelope Seals:
Print onto adhesive sticker paper with no template cuts, such as Avery #8165. Cut out
with 2” craft punch or with scissors. Peel backing and use on back of envelope.
•Address Labels:
Labels can be printed at home using sticker paper with no template cuts, such as Avery
#8165. Cut out using scissors or a paper cutter. Remove backing and attach to
envelope.

Another easy option to print is to use avery.com’s print it yourself feature. Simply go to
avery.com, click “Template” drop down menu then select Avery Design & Print.
Click the green Start Designing button (you will need to create a free account on
their website). Select your product number to create your template, then click the
green select this template button. Choose the blank option for the design. On the
next screen click “Image” on left hand of screen, then add image. Select the label
image from your saved files. Adjust the size so the image fits the label on the screen.
Click the green “Preview and Print” button on the bottom right of screen. Click Print
it yourself on the right, then print now. Choose to download the pdf, and print from
your new saved label file

(Use the addresslabel.jpeg file when doing the create your own template option
above.)

Instructions for Chalkboard Printables
This is a recommendation to achieve best results for your party!

Digital File PDF Chalkboards may be printed at home or

by using a printing service. Files will come in 300 dpi
high resolution ready to be printed.

If printing at home I recommend using a semi-gloss

or matte photo paper if you desire a shiny picture effect.
For more on an actual chalkboard look, use card stock.
( I always use Neenah bright white 65lb. Premium Cardstock,
you can find it on amazon or in an office supply store)

If you desire professional printing I recommend printing

onto foam board for the best result. I also recommend
using our professional print service. The extra cost of the
printed chalkboard is only for the printing cost, and no
profit is made from us printing for you. We just want our
designs to have the best quality, and know our printer is
awesome :) We also include free 8 business day
turnaround/shipping. Upgraded shipping is also available
for a fee.
