THE HONORABLE MEMBERS

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Yesterday and tomorrow are great opposites what has been done cannot be undone because we cannot go
back to the past, so we look forward to the future and see what can be done because we have to make our
choices today to effect the changed we wish to make in the shaping of our destiny as a community.
Today, the 10% of Annual Barangay Budget amounting to Php 326, 834. 00 budget for Sangguniang
Kabataan in FY 2021 that I am asking our Sanggunian to pass without delay and without deduction is
designed to effect necessary changes and development to bring us closer to our practical vision of being
self-reliant and progressive Kabataan.
POLICY THRUST FOR FY 2021
Our policy thrust for FY 2021 is focused to our KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN with the following
programs, projects and activities, to wit:
1. Promote Environmental Protection through the Clean and Green Program Vegetation Control;
2. Increase Mental Health Wellness practices through conducting Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign and
HIV-AIDS awareness Campaign;
3. Improve Youth Employment and Livelihood by conducting TESDA Training, Welding and
Electronics;
4. Increase Active Lifestyle through conducting Sports Development Programs;
5. Increase participation in Local Governance by conducting Linggo ng Kabataan.
EXPECTED OUTPUT FOR BY 2021
The main rationale while we exist in the barangay is not to collect taxes or fees or to spend what we have
collected. We exist because of the goods and services we provide to our constituents to make their life
easier and happier to be.
For Budget Year 2021 in the expected results our major final output on goods and services of the
Sangguniang Kabataan as layed in our investment programs as follows:
1. Clean and Green Program conducted in all sitios of our barangay;
2. Increase Mental Health wellness practices of the youth;
3. Welding and Electronics skills training conducted assisted by TESDA of which OSY will be
benefited;
4. Sports Activites Conducted;
5. Linggo ng Kabataan conducted and attended.
As a public servant, I humbly stop and bow down my head to all my constituents whom I have pledged to
serve until the end of my term I have to deliver these basic goods and services and development projects
to youth as our stakeholders if at the end of the day you don’t find these services delivered then you’ll be
the final judge…… on judgement day.
