    1. We are surrounded by and influenced by popular culture from the minute we are
    born. It is the shared thoughts and behaviors among many groups of humans. Pop
    culture is evident in the films and television programs we watch, the artwork, comic
    books, and novels we read, the toys and video games we play with, and the attire we
    choose to wear.
