Parental home for Orphans

The political and economic instability that has taken place over the last few years in the
Republic of Moldova led to the departure of many parents across the country in hope of
finding new jobs, leaving children desperate without parental warmth and supervision.

General objectives
The location of the association's project the “Parental Home of Orphan Children” was not
chosen by accident, being the parental home of the initiator of the project, where her brother
(from childhood invalid) lived for a long time.
The place of the project "The Parental Home of Orphan Children" (the surface of the 20 ares),
requires the following constructions and arrangements:
1. The house intended for the accommodation of men needs:
- the arrangement of the attic and bedrooms;
- the building of the attic balcony;
- the arrangement of a festive hall;
- the equipment and arrangement of the workshop;
- bathroom equipment and fitting;
- the equipment and arrangement of an infrared sauna;
- the arrangement of a space for massage procedures;
- the arrangement of a meditation room.
2. The house intendedfor the accommodation of females requires:
- the construction of the attic with bedrooms and a bathroom as well as their equipment and
arrangement;
- the equipment and the arrangement of a canteen;
- the furnishing and the arrangement o the vestibule and locker room;
- the arrangement of the room for administration (supervision) situated between the attics of
the two houses
3. The building of new annexes for growth of birds and exotic animals;
4. The arrangement of the courtyard, swimming pool and garden;
5. The building and arrangement of a greenhouse;
6. The building and arrangement of a terrace with the installation of bars stretching muscles
on the edges – ”Kinetotherapy” for relaxation and deep breathing procedures in the open air;
7. The building and arrangement of an woodwork workshop;
8. The connection of aqueduct and autonomous heating to the two houses;
The project ”The Parental home of Orphan Children" aims to provide day services: natural
food, non-traditional rehabilitation services using he ”Tigun" method (Chinese method with
the slogan ”There are no untreated diseases” based on deep breathing in the open air,
stimulating organ energy), psychological assistance in social inclusion, possibility of training
in the workshop (foreign language courses, tailoring/embroidery, painting and woodcutting)
with subsequent support for employment. At the same time, besides the services mentioned
above, the house will offer long-term services with the possibility of accommodation within
the available seats (30 seats) both for girls and separately for boys.

Specific objectives

1 .Accommodation of children with disabilities or orphans, wihin the limis of the available
seats (30 seats) in the two houses (one for girls and another for boys, on the basis of requests
submitited personally or by relatives, creating optimal living conditions, a farvorable
psychoemotional climate, financial and social insurance.
2. Providing tutors with non-tradiional rehabilitation services using the ”Tigun” method (the
Chinese millenary method with the slogan ”There are no untreated diseases”) according to
their physiological norms, in a friendly and family atmosphere, with the aim preventing and
treating chronic diseases with the development of intellectual capabilities of each child
3. Natural food based on fresh and organic products grown in the garden of the house by the
administration together with the beneficiaries.
4. Psychological assistance in social inclusion and the development of each person's
character until he becomes independent.
5. Professional training for those in custody in the workshop (language courses, tailoring /
embroidery, painting ond woodcutting) with further support for employment in the workplace.
6. Supporting solitary mothers having children with disabilities in vocational training and
pursuing the activity trained at home.
7. Possibty to join various charity exhibitions with the pieces of work done in the workshop.
8. Active involvement in cultural life for (organizing various competitions, evening parties,
concerts, intellectual games etc)
9. Organizing diferent excursions both on the territory of the Republic of Moldova and
abroad.
10. Promoting national traditions and customs.
11. Offering a job to the local population.
12. Opportunity to conduct volunteer acvites.
With the implementation of all the above-mentioned activities as well as with the time-based
practice, the initiation of this project will lead to a considerable improvement of the
beneficiaries quality of life through;
- Non-traditional rehabilitation
- Increasing professional qualification (language courses, tailoring / embroidery, painting and
woodcutting);
- Promoting a healthy and natural diet;
- Social inclusion (opportunity to socialize, promoting and encouraging mutual support);
- Creating optimal living conditions and a favorable psychoemotional climate;
- Developing practical skills in everyday life in the village (involvement in gardening, animal
husbandry and exotic birds);
- Involvement in various charity exhibitions with the pieces of work created in the workshop;
- Promoting the national traditions and customs;
- Participating in different excursions both oa the territory of the Republic of Moldova and
abroad

On the whole, these activities will cultivate the healthy lifestyle in children’s lives, love for
nature, practical skills, socialization, family spirit and teamwork.
The sum of 4.000 euros is necessary to start the works, namely to equip the building with:
- doors (20) and windows (25);
- bathroom unit

The staff that will be employed at the time of the project establishment:
- Coordinator
- 3 nurses (2 female, 1 male)
- 1 doctor (male or female)
- 1 housemaid (male or female)
