Executive Summary
B Jazzy Salon LLC (BJS) started in September 2019 with an investment of $100K from
the owner’s savings and bank loan. Salons are located in three shopping centers in a central
metropolitan area. BJS is a full-service salon offering the following services: haircutting and
styling, coloring, perms and straightening, facial waxing, and manicures. BJS is open seven days
a week, with each staff working five days a week. There are two owners of the company, who
have each invested $50K in cash. One of the partners is responsible for managing the operations
of BJS along with three stylists. The other owner is responsible for sales and marketing, along
with one hair stylist and two employees for customer care. The sales and marketing partner
attends many monthly local salon events/confidence-building seminars. BJS has a strong Internet
presence with a website, Facebook page, coupon/promotion plan, and Google AdWords
campaign. BJS also actively participates in local marketing groups (like a shopping center or
salon association) and attends local promotional events. BJS was founded by a group of
