The CALA consist of two parts, part A and part B.

Introduction

Roman numerals is a numerals system that originated in ancient Rome and


remained the usual way of writing numbers throughout Europe well into late
middle ages. Numbers are represented by combination of letters from the lati
alphabet
Part A

Research on Roman Numerals

In Roman Numerals system a letter placed after another of greater value adds
e.g XVI=16, whereas a letter placed before another of great value subtracts.
Modern styles of Roman numerals uses seven symbols each with a fixed integer
value. In Roman numerals Z = 2000. The roman number system was designed
basically for estimating the prices of goods and trading business therefore do
not have any value to represent zero. The word nulla was used to represent zero.
