Report on essential of human resource management

I, the Human Resource Manager at Wasana Pvt Ltd, have prepared this report to explain the
importance of human resource management in a business organization and the need to allocate
more funds for human resource management compared to other resources.

Introduction

Nothing happens unless a piece of paper moves and no paper can move without a person
moving. Even if everything is automated, the organization will need someone to push the
button. This demonstrates the need for personnel in every organization. Human resources are
present in all organizations, regardless of their size or scope of resources, whether for-profit or
non-profit. Human Resource Management is the only way for organizations to survive and
thrive. An effective HR management team can give businesses a competitive advantage.
Human resource management is the process of effectively and efficiently utilizing people in an
organization. An organization's basic goal is to meet human needs and improve people's living
standards. Human resources are employees who work for the organization being concerned.
The ability to achieve the organization's goals is dependent on the availability of other
resources. However, the actual achievement of the objectives is dependent on the availability
of human resources. Human resources are the only ones who collect, combine, and use all other
resources to make decisions. Therefore, without Human Resource Management an
organization cannot be administered successfully.

Methodology /Discussion

when compared to other resources such as physical recourses, physical, financial, and
information resources, etc. Human resources are the most essential resources which are used
by an organization to accomplish its goals. The importance of human resources is due to its
unique characteristics which are;

1. It is animate, active and living

2. It has the ability to think, feel and react
3. Its value appreciates with the passage of time (because of experience, training and etc.)
4. It has ability to influence or determining its cost
5. It has the ability to organize (as unions, team etc.)
6. Its behavior is complex and may be unpredictable
7. It has the ability of creativity and innovation, which cannot be found in any other
resources
8. It makes decisions in respect of all other resources

So, the HRM that focuses on managing that unique resource is also clearly unique and
important. Human resource management performs a variety of functions that assist an
organization's success. The importance of human resource management in an organization is
immense, from recruitment and training to managing disputes, maintaining a healthy work-life
balance, and all payroll responsibilities. Human resources management not only ensures that
employees are happy and well-trained but also ensures that the company follows all applicable
regulations and resolves any potential liability issues. Moreover, the success of other functional
fields of management such as Operation, Marketing, Finance, Management Information
systems, etc. depends on the success of HRM. Furthermore, every manager in an organization
is responsible for human resource management. This is not to say that every manager needs to
be an HRM expert or specialist. This implies that every manager must be capable of managing
employees efficiently and effectively. It is difficult to manage employees because they have
different personalities, expectations, and abilities. Employees are prone to acting or reacting in
unexpected ways. They have the potential to sabotage business plans. As a result, HRM is more
difficult than managing any other resource, and in today's business world, HRM can play a
significant role in the conflict.

Findings

The generic purpose of HRM is to generate and retain an appropriate and contented employee
force, which gives the maximum individual contribution to organizational success. So, the most
important thing is for each member of the employee force to make the maximum individual

can contribute the most to the organization's success. an appropriate employee force includes
employees with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are required to achieve an
organization's goals.
Human resource management is a well-planned process and there are Several strategic goals
must be met to achieve the above-mentioned general purpose. Firstly, to Improve Employee
Productivity. The relationship between employee inputs and outputs is known as employee
productivity. This implies how many units of production one employee produces at any given
time and it is important for an organization to properly allocate the funds for HRM for all these
things to achieve success. Secondly employee development. Which is to improve employee
career development or career path, and the enhancement of their capabilities through the
development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Thirdly to increase Quality of Work-Life
which means that before making decisions that affect them, all employees can present their
ideas, suggestions, and opinions. Lastly to ensure legal compliance when the organization
should be used to comply with various government-imposed laws to manage people and
another objective is to ensure customer compliance.

Moreover, To achieve the above generic purpose, strategic goals such as improving employee
