VISION
A premier, multidisciplinary-technological university

MISSION
The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction
for special purposes, advanced studies in industrial trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry,
aeronautics, and land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information
technology and other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research and
extension services and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization
(Sec. 2 of RA 9744).

GOAL
The University shall produce scientifically and technologically oriented human capital
equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes. It shall likewise pursue
relevant research strengthen linkages with the industry, community and other
institutions and maintain sustainable technology for the preservation of the environment.

 Relevant, effective, and quality education for sustainable growth
 Access to quality education for the underprivileged students

2. Course description

 This course shall include pedagogical content, knowledge and skills in

technology and livelihood education necessary in teaching and learning in
the elementary level. Selected topics in home economics, industrial arts,
technology and livelihood education shall form a major part of the course.
Experimental learning approach shall be the focus of the course.
3. What is CTU and what is CTU to you?

 CTU is a public, coeducational state-funded higher education institution

located in Cebu. It became a state university on November 10, 2009.
 In my perspective, Cebu Technological University is one of the most
prestigious university. It is a public accommodation for the underprivileged
students who are lack of financial assistance.

4. From the VMGO statements, which one/s relates to the study of the course?

 This statement from the Goals in VMGO relates to the study of the course
which is “The University shall produce scientifically and technologically
oriented human capital equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and
attitudes.”

5. What are your personal roles/commitment in order to attain the VMG?

 I will be aiming for academic excellence, comply with the rules and
policies of the university and participating in any school activities.
