 ORDINANCE - (Revisit and review) Mobile blood donation (DOH/CHO)

 DENGUE CASES – educate the people

 Immunization – must catch – up with the desired number and practices

Other matters:

There was a problem regarding the non-priority of “health” in, if not by the City itself, most
Barangays in the city. The common issue is that the budget constraint. Hence, the proper
Office or department like the DILG and the like regarding the appropriation or budget for
health.

There was a suggestion to make a policy on prioritizing health.

There was also a question from the legis regarding the giving of contraceptives for free in
line with the RH law. The doctor said it is practiced by the city but with limited use. Which
means that only limited persons with strict or specific reasons are prioritized.

Top priority according to Councilor:

1. Mobile blood donation – (palakasin pa) kaso after a month daw kay ginatapon so
saryang. So dapat may scheduling or

BLOOD TYPING -0 Sample sa CHO may masterlist sila kung ano ka na blood type. So if
need blood sa hospitals and etc. pwede ka i-contact if you are willing to donate.

Konsi: Nabanggit ko kasi kay doc na gusto ko maidentify sino may mga rare blood
types. Sabi niya yan nga ginagawa nila sa CHO. What if gawin natin sa LGUs…
officaes and barangays sa lahat ng offices?

What if encourage natin ang private companies din?

Pero may existing ito na Ordinance daw .. please check … baka need lang amend or
expand.

We can also get data sa Red Cross or blood bank… re: sa months na taas usage sa
blood. Para didto nalang na time mag extrac daw ug blood.

2. Blood training for first aid - all schools

Konsi: Advice ni doc maki pag coordinate jud daw sa DepEd.

And naa man sad daw uban public schools. Grade 12 naa PE and health. Gina
integrate lang didto.

Which gusto nako i-require na tanan private and public schools and PE and health.
Para acknowledgeable na jud mga bata sa first aid.

3. More campaign for dengue – Please review resolutions or any na ginawa for dengue.
We can also get data from CHO.
4. Davao city hospital - Konsi: Si doc Joselle V yan. So far wala pa man tayo sinali sa
mga meetings kung ano na status. Wait lng muna.

5. Konsi: Not sure ako nito kasi wala tayo data… not sure if may existing na din…

With coordination ata ito sa committee on Education and Committee on women and
children: Mental health issues sa students in school? Ano ba process nito? Like okay
ba ang support system ng school?.. especially sa mga factors na nag aaffect sa daily
lives ng mga students like family matters, loads ng school works, (Though wala pa
man masyado f2f… maybe cyber bully> abuses? Trauma? Results form pandemic?)

May someone ba in school ba sila na pwede makausap?

Final request of konsi: Privilege speech on anything regarding health like current
events etc. except COVID.
