Some animals act for instinct and other animals act because they know what to do on those cases.
Some animals have a high perception and they can feel when a seizure would start. Like for
example dogs can smell and predict when a seizure would start but not because of that makes
them an intelligent dog, because they don’t know how to act. Their perception makes them see
what would happen. They can act in instant like barking or jumping on their owner alerting that
something would happen.

According to (Paws with a cause)a seizure response dogs are custom trained to assist people who
have seizure disorders. Seizure alert dogs according to (Canine partners for life) are animals that
can detect an oncoming seizure and warn its owner its partner of an oncoming seizure. The
seizure response dogs can be trained like any service dog, right temperament makes makes all
the difference. Seizure alert dogs training once CPL knows a dog has the capability to alert
seizures its alerting behaviors are encouraged and promoted through positive reinforcement.
