Shloka - ೆ ೕಕ

Ganesha - ಗ ೇಶ
ಅಗ ಾನನ-ಪ ಾ ಕ ಂ
ಗ ಾನನಂ-ಅಹ ಶಂ ।
ಅ ೇಕದಂತಂ ಭ ಾ ಾಂ
ಏಕದಂತಂ-ಉ ಾಸ ೇ ॥
As the rays from the lotus-face of Gauri (Devi Parvati) is
always on her beloved son Gajanana (Who has the face
of an elephant), similarly, the Grace of Sri Ganesha is
always on his devotees; granting their many prayers; the
devotees who with deep devotion worship the ekadanta
(one with a single tusk).

Ganesha - ಗ ೇಶ
ವಕ ತುಂಡ ಮ ಾ ಾಯ
ಸೂಯ ೋ ಸಮಪ ಭ ।
ಘ ಂ ಕುರು ೕ ೇವ
ಸವ ಾ ೕ ಷು ಸವ ಾ ॥
O god with the twisted trunk, broad-bodied,
brilliant as thousand suns, bless me with
freedom from obstructions and hindrances in
all my works and for all times.

Ganesha - ಗ ೇಶ
ಗ ಾನನಂ ಭೂತಗ ಾ ೇ ತಂ
ಕ ತಜಂಬೂಫಲ ಾರ ಭ ತಂ ।
ಉ ಾಸುತಂ ೆ ೕಕ ಾಶ ಾರಣಂ
ನ ಾ ೕಶ ರ ಾದಪಂಕಜಂ ॥
O elephant-faced, served by hordes of divine
followers, enjoyer of the essence and the juice
of wood-apple and jamuns, Son of Uma devi
and cause of destruction of grief, I salute at the
lotus-feet of Vigneshwara.

Ganesha/Vishnu – ಗ ೇಶ/ ಷು
ಶು ಾಂಬರಧರಂ ಷುಂ
ಶ ವಣ ಂ ಚತುಭು ಜಂ ।
ಪ ಸನ ವದನಂ ಾ ೕ
ಸವ ೂ ೕಪ ಾಂತ ೕ ॥
I meditate upon (Lord Ganesa), the one who
wears a white garment, who is all-pervasive,
who has a (bright) complexion like the moon,
who has four hands, who has a cheerful face,
for the removal of all obstacles.

Karagre Vasate Lakshmi - ಕ ಾ ೆ ೕ ವಸ ೇ ಲ ಃ
ಕ ಾ ೆ ೕ ವಸ ೇ ಲ ಃ
ಕರಮ ೆ ೕ ಸರಸ ।
ಕರಮೂ ೇ ಾ ೌ ೕ
ಪ ಾ ೇ ಕರದಶ ನಂ ॥
At the fore of the hands resides Lakshmi, and
at the middle, Saraswathi; at the root is seated
Gauri, (so) see the palm of the hand at dawn
(first).

Uttishto Uttishta Govinda - ಉ ೋ ಉ ಷ ೋ ಂದ
ಉ ೋ ಉ ಷ ೋ ಂದ
ಉ ಷ ಗರುಡಧಜ ।
ಉ ಷ ಕಮ ಾ ಾಂತ
ೆ ೋಕ ಂ ಮಂಗಲಂಕುರು ॥
Awake, O Govinda, awake, the one with the
Garuda ensign on his flag. Awake, the beloved
of Lakshmi, Bless for the welfare of the three
worlds.

Kausalya Suprajarama - ೌಸ ಾ ಸುಪ ಾ ಾಮ
ೌಸ ಾ ಸುಪ ಾ ಾಮ
ಪ ಾ ಸಂ ಾ ಪ ವತ ೇ ।
ಉ ಷ ನರ ಾದೂ ಲ
ಕತ ವ ಂ ೇವ ಾ ಕಂ ॥
O good offspring of Kausalya, Rama, the
yester-evening (and night) is creeping away
(into dawn), awake, the greatest of beings,
may you perform the daily duties of your godly
status.

Samudra Vasane Devi - ಸಮುದ ವಸ ೇ ೇ
ಸಮುದ ವಸ ೇ ೇ
ಪವ ತಸನಮಂಡ ೇ ।
ಷುಪ ನಮಸುಭ ಂ
ಾದಸ ಶ ಂ ಮಸ ೕ ॥
O Mother Earth, who has the ocean as her
clothes, mountains and forests as her body,
who is the wife of Lord Krishna (Vishnu) I bow
to you. Please, forgive me as my feet are going
to touch you.

Gange Cha Yamune Chaiva - ಗಂ ೇ ಚ ಯಮು ೇ ೈವ
ಗಂ ೇ ಚ ಯಮು ೇ ೈವ
ೋ ಾವ ಸರಸ ।
ನಮ ೇ ಂಧು ಾ ೇ
ಜ ೇಽ ಸಂ ಂ ಕುರು ॥
Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswathi,
Narmada, Sindhu, Kaveri, May all these have a
holy confluence in this water.

Tulasi – ತುಳ
ಪ ೕದ ತುಲ ೕ ೇ
ಪ ೕದ ಹ ವಲ ೇ ।
ೕ ೋದ ಮಥ ೋದೂ ೇ
ತುಲ ೕ ಾ ಂ ನ ಾಮ ಹಂ ॥
I pray to Lakshmi wife of Shri Hari (Vishnu) who
was born while churning Ocean of Milk.

Vruksha – ವೃ
ಮೂಲ ೋ ಬ ಹ ರೂ ಾಯ
ಮಧ ೋ ಷುರೂ ೇ ।
ಅಗ ತಃ ವರೂ ಾಯ
ವೃ ಾ ಾಯ ೇ ನಮಃ ॥
To you, O Vriksharaja (King of trees) who takes
on the form of Brahma at the roots, Vishnu in
the middle and Shiva at the extremes, our
salutations.

Chiranjeevi – ರಂ ೕ
ಅಶ ಾ ಾ ಬ ಾ ೋ
ಹನು ಾನಶ ೕಷಣಃ ।
ಕೃಪಃ ಪರಶು ಾಮಶ
ಸ ೆ ಃ ೇ ರಂ ೕ ನಃ ॥
The seven eternal beings are Ashwatthama, Bali,
Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishana, Kripa and
Parasurama – if these names are meditated upon
continuously, one can, like Markandeya, live
hundred years free from natural or unnatural
death.

Asatoma Sadgamaya - ಅಸ ೋ ಾ ಸದಮಯ
ಓಂ ಅಸ ೋ ಾ ಸದಮಯ ।
ತಮ ೋ ಾ ೊ ೕ ಗ ಮಯ ।
ಮೃ ೊ ೕ ಾ ಅಮೃತಂ ಗಮಯ ।
ಓಂ ಾಂ ಃ ಾಂ ಃ ಾಂ ಃ ॥
Lead me from the unreal to the real,
Lead me from darkness to light,
Lead me from death to immortality.
May peace be, may peace be, may peace be.

Saraswati Namastubhyam - ಸರಸ ನಮಸುಭ ಂ
ಸರಸ ನಮಸುಭ ಂ
ವರ ೇ ಾಮರೂ ।
ಾ ರಂಭಂ ಕ ಾ
ಭ ವತು ೕ ಸ ಾ ॥
Salutation to you, O Saraswathi, grantor of
blessings and embodiment of all wishes, I am
getting inducted to studies, may there be
fulfilment for me forever.
