My life has been a complete rollercoaster.

I have had so many challenges in my

life that have made me the young man that I am today. Starting from my childhood, I
was involved in my father's small farm. I discovered my great love for animals, since
then I have not stopped feeling passion for them. Also, my dad, being a farmer, taught
me a lot about plants. I discovered that in the future, I wanted to work in protecting
nature. That is why I have a huge desire to study something related to the environment.
But first, I want to talk about the things that shaped me into the young man I have
become.

There have been many things I have participated in which I have got the best
version of myself. Begging my seventh grade I got into a contest of art on which I went
to compete in Tegucigalpa, Honduras capital. That time while being a total amateur in
this competition, I won third place. Next year, in eighth grade I got into the same
contest and make an incredible Frida Kahlo painting. With that piece of art, I won first
place. Also, in those two years, I was part of the indoor soccer team and we won first
place in both years. Additionally, that year in the eighth grade I had the opportunity to
be part of the student government. We did activities that greatly help our community
and school.

In the ninth grade, I was very excited about these competitions and activities but,
sadly, covid-19 ruined my plans. On the other hand, I had some great opportunities
during this chaotic time. 61 Isaiah Ministries gave me the chance to translate with a
group of missionaries. We went to a village of scares resources and shared the gospel
with them. This was an amazing experience. Next year, while I was in eleventh grade, I
received another call from the 61 Isaiah ministries asking if I was willing to translate.
Definitely, I agreed and got into a new amazing journey. We went to a different region
and shared the gospel with the natives of that place. This was an amazing experience
that taught me some big lessons. There are so many people out there that need help and
just going out there, talking to them, and giving our best to help their situation was
something very nice.

In conclusion, I have learned so much from all these experiences and have
discovered my talents. I consider myself a very dedicated and perseverant young man
who is willing to help our planet by taking care of our environment. Each of my
obstacles and challenges have shaped me into the person I am today. It is worth noting
my performance in the educational field, always maintaining a high average in my
classes. I am very proud of myself and I know that I am a great student willing to
contribute greatly to the University of Alberta.
