Stage 1: Pre-Assessment (PA)
A session to share the envision of green approach towards development to
helps finalize the design AND pre-requisite compliances

Client/ESD Consultant/GreenREAP need to:


• Arrange PA meeting within 3 months after
registration. It is not a mandatory but
recommended to arrange the PA meeting.
• Registration fee should be made before
conducting PA meeting.
• Prepare and present the slide during the
meeting.
• Submit pre-lim scorecard with the intended
criteria.
• To circulate Minutes of Meeting (MOM) among
attendees within 1 week after the PA meeting.

Stage 2: Actual Assessment (AA)
Document-based submission before completion of a building

ESD Consultant/GreenREAP need to:


• Submit complete AA documents in softcopy/via cloud links. Submission
Template with client’s and QP signature is compulsory.
• AA meeting will be conducted after assessment of the document
submitted (1 month).
• Assessors & External Reviewer will issue comments .
• Arrange AA meeting. AA meeting is a clarification day with respect to
GreenRE‘s comments.
• Submit clarifications documents within 2 weeks after AA meeting.

Stage 3: Site Verification Assessment (SVA)
Site inspection with respect to the conditions:
Building
• Residential and Landed Home building
Completion
- Recommended after CCC up to 1 year
• Non-Residential Building, Healthcare Facilities, Industrial
Facilities, Office Interior, Data Centre
- Industrial/Healthcare: min 6 months up to 1 year
operation
- NRB (Office/Mall/Hotel): min 6 months up to 1 year after
CCC or 50% of occupancy (whichever come first)
- NRB (Restaurant/Clubhouse): min 6 months after
operation (max 1 year)
- Data Centre: min 6 months up to 1 year operation
• Existing Non-Residential Building, Existing Industrial Facilities
- ENRB/EIND: min 6 months up to 1 year after CCC or 50%
occupancy rate (whichever come first)
• Township
- After completion of individual phases (final
certificate will marked as “Phase 1” etc.)

Site Verification Assessment (SVA), continue’
Client /ESD Consultant/GreenREAP need to:
 Submit SVA documents for checking
 Submit Final Scorecard and List of Variance, if any changes from the AA
 Submit copy of Certificate Of Completion And Compliance (CCC)
 Arrange the site visit with respect to the operation condition
 Tour itinerary for which area should be visited first - scoring items
 Prepare and present slides before visiting
 Photographic evidence for items during construction and installation
of product or equipment.
 Submit PO/DO/VO for the purchased items
 Electrical and Water bills (minimum 6 months for NRB and 3 mnths for
RES)
 Re-submit additional docs (if require) in softcopy after site
visit (within 2 weeks)

• 1 month is required to assess the documents from the date of submission


• Township may subject to some other requirements

Site Inspection and Measurement at following area:
 Typical floor – façade system, air-conditioned area, light fittings, water fittings, lux level,
etc.
 Common area – corridor, staircases, lift lobbies, facilities floor, carpark, guard house
 Major component installed – chiller plant room, AHU, Cooling Tower for data logging etc
 Mechanical and Electical (M&E) room
 Landscape area, etc
 For items that unable to see on-site after completion (low VOC paint, waterproofing,
insulation, etc) GreenREAP are responsible to provide photographic evidences showing
the installation of the items.

Renewal Certification Process
(NRB and RES)
The need for Renewal on GreenRE Certified Buildings
(Non-Residential & Residential)

 Upon successful award of final certificate, renewal assessment will be conducted every
3 years to ascertain continuing compliance to GreenRE requirement.

 Renewal of GreenRE Buildings is a process for qualified GreenRE-certified buildings to


be recognised for sustained performance in the area of energy efficiency, water
efficiency, operations and management, and indoor environment quality.

 By satisfying a checklist of performance metrics, such buildings can be


re-certified to its existing GreenRE tool and rating.
GreenRE Non-Residential renewal is applicable for a building that:
1. Retain same GreenRE tool and rating
2. Has not been refurbished or renovated

Part 1 Energy Efficiency

 Submit Energy Audit or OSE (operational system efficiency) report and


meet minimum efficiency standard
 On site sensor checks (if previous certification was based on NRB V3.1
or ENRB V3.0 or points were previously given for these sensors)
 Submit past 3 years building electricity bill (Provide reasons if
deviation is more than 5% over the past the 3 years)

Part 2 Water Efficiency

 Submit past 3 years building water bill (to provide reasons if deviation
is more than 5% over the past the 3 years)
 Submit updated water efficiency improvement plans
 Submit water treatment report showing cycles of concentration (for
cooling tower only)
