ISIDRO HULOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

I. INTRODUCTION

Pursuant to the pertinent guidelines in DECS Order No. 1, s. 1993 entitled


“Increasing the Number of Elementary School Days and Time Allotment in the New
Elementary School Curriculum” and DECS Order No. 2, s. 1993 entitled “Increasing the
Number of Secondary School Days, Time Allotments and Subject Requirements in the
New Secondary Education Curriculum” and in consonance with the thrust on quality
education through a more relevant and meaningful basic, education program, a Mid-
Year Program Review and Evaluation (MPRE) shall be held in all public elementary and
secondary schools for a total of 5 days preferably at the end of the first semester of
every school year effective SY 1997-1998 or any other date/s that the regional directors
may deem more appropriate.

Its aims to evaluate the progress attained in the implementation of the


educational program of the school; to review the performance of teachers and the
school. staff with a view to addressing concerns through cooperative effort; and to
provide pupils/students with off-school learning experiences undertaken either
individually or in groups in order to apply learnings in the different subjects in a real-life
context.

Principals and teachers shall undertake activities to achieve the set objectives of
MPRE. They may involve district/ division supervisors as professional consultants.
Outputs of such activities may be instructional materials, teaching techniques,
evaluation instruments, etc. as well as pedagogic assistance for teachers based on their
needs as revealed in the performance appraisal conducted.

Pupils/students shall be given individual/group projects that will call for the
application of their learnings in a family that will call for the application of their learnings
in a family/community setting. Assistance/support of family members as well as
community leaders shall be enlisted. Results/outputs of the project/s which shall be
reported in class when classes resume, shall form part of the rating in a particular
subject/s.

Amidst the challenges brought by the Covid 19 pandemic, Isidro Hulom


Elementary School joined and took part in this year’s MPRE. Prior to the schedule of the
activity, the school head submitted training matrix to the division office and it was
approved. The teachers informed their parents in the conduct of the said activity through
call and text messages. It was a mixture of online and offline platform.

This presents the accomplishment of Isidro Hulom Elementary School in the


conduct of Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation 2021-2022.

III. ACCOMPLISHMENT

Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation (MPRE) 2022 started by an


opening program conducted through online platform by Sir John Paul C. Generoso, the
school head. He discussed the activity matrix for the whole activity. In the afternoon, the
teachers identified the least learned competencies in every learning area and the most
mastered competencies. Output for this is attached in the means of verification.

For the second day, the teachers computed and submitted the mean percentage
score (MPS) and general point average (GPA) of every learning area for second quarter
in the morning while the master teachers evaluated the IPCRF rating of teachers for the
first semester of SY 2021-2022.

Based on the data presented above, the general pointed average of Isidro Hulom
Elementary School for Filipino is 85.78, English is 84.95, Science is 85.14, Mathematics
is 84.42, Araling Panlipunan is 85.68, EPP is 85.92, ESP is 86.67, MAPEH is 85.83 and
for MTB-MLE is 87.00. As you can see, MTB-MLE has the highest GPA while
Mathematics has the lowest.

Based on the data presented above, the mean percentage score (MPS) of Isidro
Hulom Elementary School for Filipino is 77.77, for English is 75.66, for Science is 73.92,
for Mathematics is 76.12, for Araling Panlipunan is 76.67, for EPP is 74.62, for ESP is
78.08, for MAPEH is 80.81 and for MTB-MLE is 81.04. MTB-MLE has the highest MPS
for second quarter while Science has the lowest.

All teachers of Isidro Hulom Elementary School have submitted their IPCRF
rating for the first semester of SY 2021-2022.

For the third day, the teachers developed of additional supplementary materials
in support with the RBI modality implemented in the school. They developed learning
activity sheets (LAS) in support of the least learned competencies per learning areas.
The photo attached above is the data bank of supplemental LAS for least learned
competencies. Sample LAS is also attached in this report.

Capability building for action research was conducted by the master teachers for
the fourth day of the MPRE through google meet platform. Teachers were group by
grade level and they were tasked to submit their research title. Below is the list of title

Teachers were observed on RBI instruction for the fourth day of the activity.
Master Teachers Abelie L. Goyha and Claridel H. Coling gave an informative technical
assistance to address the things to be improve in their instruction. Summary of the
ratings was attached in this report.

CLOSING PROGRAM
Teachers with commendable accomplishments were recognized during the
closing program in the fifth day. It was attended by 15 teachers with the school head
through google meet platform.

IV. RECOMMENDATION

Despite the pandemic, education for our learners must continue. The school
planning team highly recommends proper planning of activities for the school year so all
needs of teachers will be addressed. It is planned that suggested activities by the
division office shall be followed but with inclusion.
