Komatsu genuine powertrain oil is a lubricant
for off-highway machinery, designed to extend
the machine life and oil drain intervals. The
product is formulated with selected base oils
associated to a robust chemistry. It provides better
oxidation resistance and extra protection to the
transmission components.

Application
• Komatsu genuine powertrain oil is a transmission
fluid designed for powershift transmissions,
steering boxes and final drives of construction
and mining equipment. It can also be used in
swing device.
Product benefits
• Komatsu genuine powertrain oil is formulated
with a high quality base oil with a high
viscosity index and shear stability, even at high
temperatures.
• The robust additive system ensures excellent
oxidation resistance as well as excellent anti-
wear and extreme pressure protection.

Evaluates gear tooth face wear resistance of fluids using A
profile gears. The rig is operated at 100 rpm under constant
load for 20 hours. A visual tooth surface rating and gear
weight loss are measured.
FZG scuffing load A/8.3/90 (DIN 51354)
Evaluates gear tooth face scuffing resistance of fluids using
A pro file gears. The rig is operated at 1450 rpm through up to
12 progressive load stages at 15-minute intervals and a fluid
temperature of 90°C. Gear teeth are inspected after each load
stage for scuffing.
